A lovely week in a lovely cottage.

Great location for exploring Northumberland. Very quiet even though right in the centre of Alnwick. .Clean and nicely decorated. Great to have parking right outside. Well equipped kitchen which we didn’t put to use as there were so many nice restaurants close by.

Fridge difficult to get to behind kitchen door - would have been easier if fridge door opened the other way. Larger bath towels would have been useful and bigger glasses for cold drinks

The property was extremely well presented and had everything we could need and more. Loved the mood lighting. Location was perfect for the centre of Alnnick and exploring the castle and gardens etc.

Towel sizes, only issue I would recommend bath sheets and hand towels as the towels were very small.

Totally Enjoyable

The one and only thing is that Was the Car parking but I was ok with it, because no2 Didn't used their Space. Apart from at everything else was Perfect Beyond Expectation. A lot more than Expected.

There was any dislike about the Property other than already Mentioned. Fryer Smell from 9.00- 9.30 from nearly Restaurant Fan, but that's nothing to do with the Property. Wasn't on when we return after eating out.

The parking was very tight. If there had been a car in the next bay we wouldn't have been able to park.

My stay was enjoyable, comfortable and just what I needed for my visit.

The location of the property was perfect to see Alnwick Castle and gardens,which were all in walking distance.A food store was just across the road through an arch. I t was situated in a quiet road.

lots of potential, but missed basics ruined it

Nice location, well kept and renovated property

Missed on some very simple basics. The worst part was that the property was an absolute frigid 7 degrees when we arrived at 17.00, and took a full 5 hours to warm up to even 17 degrees with the thermostat turned all the way up and all radiators turned fully on as well. extremely uncomfortable!! Also missing were: no bath soap or shampoo in the shower, no hand soap in the kitchen, no dishwasher tabs for the dishwasher, and no sponges etc for dish / pot washing. Quite disappointing for what could have been a lovely and comfortable property!

A clean, comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Alnwick and immediate surrounds.

Spotlessly clean and smart decor, excellent location for exploring Alnwick on foot and accessing necessary amenities; slightly tricky vehicle access to very suitable parking; very quiet location. Every facility in the house worked very well. Nice welcome pack, useful information pack.
