A lovely holiday for our family of 4 and extremely good value - would recommend!

Very well positioned for wandering around Alnwick, for restaurants and especially the castle! Much bigger property than we thought, very comfortable for the 4 of us. We had a lovely time!

Ideally located very near pubs, restaurants close to Alnwick Castle the stay was fantastic

Weekend stop on journey south

Clean , spacious, well equipped, centre of town so easy to walk to sites/ restaurants

On ground floor at crossroads. As a result difficult to sleep on the second night due to noise from unruly crowd at 2am. First night however was quiet We found it difficult to park the car tight against the wall as requested. To be fair this might be more of a reflection on our driving skills.

Everything was amazing perfect little place to spend the week with my girlfriend everything we needed was there nice and relaxing and nice location too couldn't really fault it to be honest will defo recommend anyone to try it and we will definitely be going bk oneday as we loved it.

Exceptional

Very well equipped and well maintained apartment. Decent sized bedrooms and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Kitchen had everything you need. Location was great, close to good restaurants and 10 minutes walk to Morrisons. Car parking on site is so convenient. Good WiFi, nice TV and comfortable sofas - not that we spent a lot of time sitting as there is so much to do in the area . Key collection etc was very efficient and easy. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Mattress was a little tired. The apartment is on the corner of two roads, one residential and the other more of a through town road, so there was some traffic noise in the morning. Very quiet at night. Didn't bother us but some may be disturbed by it.

Bed linen and pillows really poor quality. As it was beginning of December Christmas pary's were taking place so very noisy. Unfortunately also witnessed awful fighting outside of apartment at 2 am.

Apart from the issue with the fridge we would be happy to return to beautiful Alnwick and recommend

The size of the property especially the 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were a bonus Also, the location and cleanliness. Ample Kitchen utensils etc.

No upfront info given provided re access to property. Needed to contact company several times. Attention to detail in the property, curtains hanging from the rail - the hooks were even left on the dresser but no-one bothered to replace hem. Beware - the front of the middles drawers on the lounge unit come right off in your hand - needs to be fixed immediately. HOWEVER THE MAIN ISUUE WAS THAT THE FRIDGE WAS NOT WORKING AND OBVIOUSLY HADNT BEEN FOR SOMETIME. WHEN THE ENGINEER FINALLY CAME HE SAID THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I feel for those arriving later today/tomorrow as they won’t be able to keep foods cold. Our milk etc went off !! - Good luck

Clean and comfortable, but in need of a little tlc. Lack of attention to detail in preparation.

Convenient location, everything we needed for a comfortable couple of nights away. Off street parking space is a bonus and a ground floor apartment suited us after a long walk!

We have a holiday let of our own in Cumbria, so inevitably compared Percy's Place to ours. When we arrived there was a strong smell of gas. We found that one burner on the hob had been left on. We opened the windows, so luckily no harm done. There was food left in the freezer, which needed defrosting. The fridge didn't seem to be working. There was a jar of coffee left for us - but it was nearly empty and the granules had gone hard. The drawers in the living room unit were falling apart - the front came off as soon as we opened them. I would personally top up the soaps so they look full for new guests.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cosy. Great location in town also,

Didn't receive any information on how to check in, where parking space was, etc. prior to the stay. No response to my messages on the App despite approving our arrival time that day. Had to call team to get basic information over the phone whilst en route.

Brilliant Alnwick weekend

The location of the flat was perfect; a few steps from all the local shops, restaurants and ideally placed for touring the beautiful Northumberland coast. Most importantly for me, it was lovely and warm.

While it was very comfortable and homely, the sofa and rug in the living area looked a bit tired. It didn’t impact on our enjoyment of the weekend. I think Covid may have impacted on any updating.
