Lucky Star 201 by Vallettastay

The room was clean and beautiful with a great little balcony. There were ceiling fans and air-conditions in the apartment which were much needed for the summer (only found one remote for the air cons though). The location was perfect and right next to the building there is a small convenience store. We really enjoyed our stay!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. Maybe the couch could be replaced later on but I might be nitpicking now.

Located very central in Valetta, a few shops and bakerys in the proximity, easy to clean.

We had a very positive first impression when entering the room. It is spacious, featuring a separate bedroom and a living room with a kitchen area, where the sofa can be converted into a bed. The design is aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully arranged. The location is very convenient, as it is close to all major points of interest in Valletta, and the neighborhood itself is charming, with the classic Maltese balconies adding to its character. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we also appreciated the availability of a small iron and a compact hair dryer. Additionally, the presence of separate bins for general waste, recycling, and food waste (organic waste) was a very thoughtful and practical touch.

There was a constant noise 24/7, similar to water running forcefully through pipes, along with occasional loud thumping sounds that we couldn’t identify. In general, the sound insulation is quite poor. The bathroom, although equipped with all the essentials, had an unpleasant smell, as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The sofa bed, despite being a double, was quite uncomfortable and noisy, even when simply turning from side to side. Additionally, it seemed that it hadn’t been moved for cleaning, as we found chocolate underneath.
