Perfect location!

Unusual access to the toilet

The apartment was lovely, historic and carefully prepared and maintained. The sole wrinkle is that the toilet was outside a locked door (and the shower was directly in the bedroom, rather than in a separate bathroom). But we very much enjoyed our comfortable stay there.

Toilet (though private) turned out to be through a locked outer door, and the shower was directly in the bedroom.

Noisy neighbours (like, stomping around at 7am)

Its truly a Maltese Valletta experience with fireworks, sirens, people talking loudly, cars honking, church bells ringing for mass or Angelus & being on the ground floor, the experience js truly lived out.

1) The toilet is not part of the apartment. Bathroom door opens to a common staircase to upper floor. If using the toilet, one is expected to exit the apartment and lock the apartment door. 2) No Privacy - the airwell garden is accessible to all stayers. We are on the ground floor and one of the ceiling height window did not have a night curtain. Thank goodness that no one used the airwell garden during our stay. 3) the air conditioning was not working and they said they will send maintenance. But no one came 4) would be nice if they had placed toiletries like disposable toothbrushes, hand soap at the sinks (room and kitchen), label the dispenser in the shower cubicle if its shampoo or body shop 5) I realised that one of the dining chairs had rusty nails sticking up after sitting on it and had to use alcohol wipes on my legs. 6) suggest the picture on conflicts above the bedboard be placed elsewhere as bedroom is a place of rest ;)
