The roof terrace is amazing. Loads of room and a great view. That's the reason we booked the property and it didn't disappoint. Upstairs is a really pleasant space. Even just sitting on the couch inside upstairs is so nice, and still gives you a view of the sea. Great to have a bathroom on each floor too, as it meant you didn't have to go up and down the very steep stairs as often. The area is great - Valetta is small, and we could walk to the ferry to Sliema in 20 or so mins, and the bus station in around the same time. Nice bars and food places around the area, and not too busy. The flat has most things we needed - kitchen equipment etc. We were able to get in at 1pm to leave our bags, then check in formally at 3pm. The company that rents the flat out was in contact to check everything was OK, so if there had been anything they could have helped with I would have felt confident in letting them know.

The lift broke down while we were there to leave our bags, and we spent a hot, uncomfortable, stressful 45 minutes before a neighbour let us out. After that it was the stairs for us. No way we were risking that again. It wasn't a great start to the hoiday and if the lift had worked we would have given a higher rating for the flat. We only received one key, which was awkward if we wanted to do anything separately. Normally holiday lets give you 2 keys. It also added a layer of stress if the door had closed with the one key left inside - luckily that didn't happen. None of the QR codes for the appliances worked and I found the list of costs for every item offputting. I felt that I had paid enough that if I broke a glass or plate, it should be classed as wear and tear and not charged. Some of the items on the list also weren't there. It would have been nice to have more than one set of towels each for the week, and to have a little washing powder left for us to use. It's obvious this is a 'corporate' let, and no one has lived there. Just little things could make it better like a shelf in the downstairs bathroom for your toothbrush, bowls, not just pasta dishes etc. Also, it is a little run down in places - plaster has come down from the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. These are all fairly minor issues (apart from the lift), but sorting them would make for a better stay.

Location was good, bed comfortable a nice terrace if the weather is good communication with staff was good and they did send a cleaner after we complained - TV was never rectified even before the storm

Cleanliness, TV did not work downstairs and upstairs you could not stream as the Wi-Fi connection is poor upstairs they need some boosters- kitchen tap unstable. Towels could be replaced. It should be mentioned this place is totalling unsuitable for persons with mobility issues - if the doggy lift doesn’t work you have 68 steps to climb and inside there are very steep steps to the open plan kitchen and terrace
