ALTANA by Valletta Vintage

We had a wonderful stay at Altana by Valletta Vintage. The apartment was absolutely lovely — cosy, beautifully arranged, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a real home away from home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. The location is excellent, in a very quiet and peaceful area, while still being close to everything. We also loved the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace — it was such a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Gallery, 3rd floor. Great position, with shops and restaurants moments away. Bathing area is 3 min away. The room was something else design-wise, with great attention to detail and having everything we needed. The side sea view & gigantic windows contributed to the aesthetic of the place. The administrator was really helpful & the room contained a brochure filled with important and relevant info about the surroundings & the building. The rooftop is to die for, especially in the night, when the city shines or blows fireworks. All in all, a gorgeus place to be.

I have a couple of suggestions, i guess it depends on the guest if they are issues or not. The bed is not fit for anyone over 180cm, i am 195 and could not fit at all, i would have been worth mentioning. The bathroom doesn’t have a light (or we couldn’t find it) The room doesn’t have some sort of vanity mirror (issue for the ladies). The stairs might be challenging to some folks, would be worth mentioning.

Spacious, clean, well-equipped, easy to access, looked nice.

Check-in time is a bit late and the “don’t show up early or we’ll fine you €50” rule seems a bit harsh and had us sitting on the steps to the accommodation until 3.59pm as we were worried of going in even a minute too early. There was also a lovely terrace at the top but it would have certainly benefitted from some shade as it was otherwise unusable in the 34*C heat we had all week.

Das Bett (Gallery) ist eher eine Sofa, wenn man größer als 178 cm ist, reicht die Länge des Bettes nicht aus. Polstern und Matratze sind sehr hart keine Steckdosen im Badezimmer, das heißt man kann sich die Haare nicht vor einem Spiegel föhnen lassen. Einen großen bzw. überhaupt irgendeinen Spiegel gibt es im Zimmer nicht Hotelslipper könnte man zur Verfügung stellen, überall sind Fliesen
