I loved the beautiful peace and quiet. Watching the bunnies hopping about. The facilities were lovely and clean. Beautiful warm shower.

I'm a shortie.i felt it was a bit dangerous not having any steps or railings. I almost face planted, trying to get onto the deck of the hobbit house.

Easy access to property with handy location to local supermarket and restaurant/bar.

Breakfast cereal and toast with yummy jam was provided. Spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. Lovely semi rural location with calves in the paddocks. Great walks around the area with leafy green trees. Suited our stay for the night.

Tucked in the back of nature Continental breakfast was so handy with our early starts Shower pressure is 😍😍 Nearby four square was pretty reasonably priced and the nearby park was flash the kids loved it! Hobbit home was a favorite as it was close enough to let our teen sleep in there Beautiful Bosch oven that cooked our meals faster Beautifully maintained property and the firm bed made me sleep thru my 4 alarms 🤦🏽‍♀️

Packing up to come home. Pics don't really do the place any justice so don't under estimate what you're scrolling past No photos as we live in the moment and I'd like to gatekeep Aberdeen for next year 😜

Hosts had put some breakfast items in fridge for us. More than enough and that was very helpful. Loved the way both Julie and John interacted with us and made sure to feel comfortable

It was just what we wanted and a great start to our Te Awa River cycle trail and fantastic to return to.

For me, it was doable as a wheelchair user but hand rails would definitely make things easier in the bathroom for the loo and shower.

Pick this lovely place for your stay

We had 5 days here due to a family wedding nearby and had a wonderful stay. The little hobbit house was THE cutest place to sleep and the house was warm, clean, and very comfortable for the 5 of us, with a great shower. So many thoughtful touches with the breakfast basket, milk, tea and coffee all there, which is so nice, arriving and able to have a hot drink and relax straight away. Super close to Hamilton and the highway but with a quiet and rural feel. Delish local bakery and 4 square nearby. Highly recommend and will stay here again next time we are in the Waikato. Thanks again Julie & John :)

Only 3 suggestions: - a lock on the bathroom door - some pavers between the hobbit house and the cottage so you don't get mud on the floor - curtains in the hobbit house

The choice for breakfast was just great more variety than we expected. Location is perfect so close to Mystery Creek, Cambridge and Hamilton CBD. Plenty of linen and blankets.

The whole scenery was Perfect, atmosphere of the area itself was marvelous 2min drive to the Local Dairy & eatery outlets nice & quiet. For there Owners we would like to Thank you for giving us the opportunity in having our family stay close by us we prayed everyday for Our sons recovery up in Waikato Hospital ICU he has improved so much but still a long way to go.

Convenient stay for guys golf trip.

We were playing golf at Tieke so was perfect location only five minutes from the course.

The mattresses on the beds are not great. Not the end of the world but was noticeably wiry.

Very clean and spacious Cottage and sleep out. New stove and oven as well as all the kitchen appliances, shower was powerful and the breakfast that was provided was excellent… couldn’t fault anything. Definitely recommend this, A+

We loved this location as we had family and friends in Matangi and Hillcrest. Really loved being close to punnet and being put of thr hustle and bustle. We loved their linen and beds very comfy. Very easy layout. Great for us with 2 small kids.

The location is rural, nice and peaceful. My daughter enjoyed feeding the 5/6 cows. Close to Hamilton. Hobbit Hut is very cosy and comfortable.

A great place to retreat to after a big day of competing at the Waka Ama Sprint Nationals

It was easy to call the host and meet them at the property although we had a lock box too. Excellent host to deal with. Everything we expected was there as advertised. Its a lovely quiet neighbourhood

The Hobbit House was very cute and the main cottage was very comfortable. The kids enjoyed feeding grapefruit to the cows and seeing rabbits hopping around the yard in the mornings and evenings. A nice selection of breakfast foods were provided too.

Great location on farmland for a family of 6.

Breakfast provided was sumptuous and was customized to our vegetarian palate. The Hobbit house is very cute, the kids enjoyed sleeping in there. Location is rural with lots of farm land and rabbits. This location is good for a family of 6.

A 2nd bathroom would have been great. There is a washer however without a dryer, we were unable to use it. A dryer would have been nice to have.
