Very poor and definitely in need of an upgrade

Decent location. Quiet side street Decent communication from owner.

House in need of full renovation. Sunken floor boards and split laminate. Double bed in main upstairs bedroom the base is broken. Wardrobes are not fitted to walls and unsteady. Boiler had error message when entered property. Water needed filling and reset on boiler. Bedding dirty with dark hair on sheet. Could be so much better. EDITED and updated The owner is clearly disulussional. I've tried to be polite and offer advice so the next guests won't be disappointed. The owner clearly has no intention of dealing with the issues in the property. The front garden is a mess the cleaner made no effort to make the house look presentable. The Lock safe is so.close to the floor that if your old and find it hard to get up after getting down your going to struggle. As you walk directly into the house you instantly meet sunken decking which are on the verge of snapping. 1st double bedroom. Downstairs wardrobes are not safe and not fitted to the wall for safety reasons. If you have young kids this is hazardous. 1st double room straight off stairs the laminate is sunken and you could quite easily put your foot through to Downstairs. There is no part of this house that is newly renovated and I only wish I took photos as the place was horrendous. Book at your own risk.

Wash mashine did not work. my clothes were stucked inside. at arrival 3 glasses, 5 forks, tiny table, 4 chairs, not suitable for 8 persons. first night someone came and brought more glasses and forks.

Good sized house. Good communication with the owner.

Decor was very tired, although it had nice kitchen units and bathroom. The back door was stuck and looked like it had been kicked in. It was very visible that the house had, had a water leak and it smelt damp with mould too. No instructions on how to use the Tv and 10mins of getting in the property the electric went so I had to contact the owner. My daughter was in the shower at the time. The courtyard garden and the front of the property needed weeding too.

Good value for money - would be even better if the boiler worked 😊

Good value for money Great sized bedrooms

- On arrival at the house the boiler was not working and the house was extremely cold. Fortunately, We managed to get the boiler to work and the house heated up nicely. The next day the boiler unfortunately stopped working again and despite our attempts to get it to work it would not work. I contacted the host but unfortunately it was not able to be fixed as we were not at the property (we had travelled to Liverpool from Essex for a family friends birthday and so were out for dinner) and I was advised they do not have a spare set of keys for the property. Due to it being February the house was cold that night and this impacted on our comfort. - Wardrobes in room are extremely wobbly and I would be concerned if travelling with children due to the risk of injury from falling furniture.
