Not what I expected

Easy access to the building and hassle free check in.

No tv in the room (standard those days)! No morning brew packs ( standard! coffee, tea, sugar, milk). No designed smoking area( could do with smoking space in back yard). Blocked hand washing basin. Extremely low pressure shower, took me 20 min to get proper shower in the morning! Could do better with the checking out times( especially over the weekend) 10.00 am a bit too early for people that enjoy night out in the city.

Clean, comfortable but noisy

apartment was clean and comfortable,

The noise from the Bass of the music in the pub next door/ beneath was very loud. and even after close on a Sunday night it continued as they guy wanted to listen to it whilst cleaning. When i called the Host She was not to happy and told me that she needed to sleep as she had work early. I thought this was pretty ironic. I also did point out the Description of the apartment does say "soundproof Walls" which was not the case at all. fortunately the music did stop around 11.30 1200 after decided I would go and have a night cap and spoke to the guy in the bar (not the same car I drank in) on the way back to the apartment.

Walking up steps to the property the windows were dirty with mould. Basement windows were grim. On entering the property it was not appealing very dark and dingy. Once in the room that was a whole new ball game. The curtains were hanging off, there was a tear in the duvet cover, pulled back the duvet and there was a stain on the cover, paint flaking off the wall. No shade on the ceiling light, no cover on the extraction unit in the bathroom. There are stains on the headboard and on the side of the bed. There was debris and dirt under the bed. I am no snob but there was no way that I was going to sleep in a dirty environment. I contacted the owner explaining all this asked for a refund as I now needed to book somewhere else. They have not responded to any of my emails or messages which is just rude. I felt dirty when I left the property and gutted as this was part of a Christmas present for my partner which was ruined at this point.

Basic but comfortable

Comfortable bed, privacy, shared kitchen with one other couple but that was fine. Most cooking equipment we needed was provided

Comfortable warm room

Heating was always left on for us which was very kind. Staff were very responsive. Easy check-in process, you just have to follow the instructions carefully. Comfortable bed. Would recommend.

Room is slightly out of the centre of the city so we got taxis or buses there and back. We wished there was a television in the room.

A very enjoyable stay

The house is on a very nice street with a park opposite. It's very close to the railway station. The room was clean and comfortable with a good shower and shared kitchen. It was very peaceful. I very much enjoyed my stay there.

Rude staff

Self check in process was convenient and easy Nice room, clean and tidy

On booking.com it says check out was 11 but we got a very aggressive banging on the door at 10am demanding that we needed to leave the room at 10. The woman on the other side was very rude and aggressive and we did not appreciate being turfed out an hour earlier than was stated

Cheap accommodation in Liverpool

It was very clean and the codes worked well. It was near a bus route, shops and a park.

There was no warning about the steep stairs. This might be difficult for older people.

Handy for city centre but noise from early in the moring from other rooms is a big turn-off.

The shared kitchen was clean and well-equiped. There was a cooker, fridge and washing machine.

The claim that it was sound insulated appears false. I could hear people talking in the hallway, doors opening and closing, the plumbing and footsteps on the stairs so it appears the walls and floor are not insulated and like a room in a echoy house.

The property is not close to city centre , nothing positive to say about property , it was filthy , rats roamed around streets , kitchen was a health and safety hazard too dirty to use stay away at all costs

I did see an enormous rat in the street before I went in but he never reappeared and there were none inside the building. Looks a little unprepossessing from outside but inside is fine. Pleasant area, good transport to centre by bus or train. Door code new to me- you have to place palm over handle for keypad to appear.

I should have been informed about keypad; I travel a lot and have never encountered this before. Fortunately owner lives next door and was able to explain, albeit in a rather curmudgeonly fashion.

A very disappointing and unpleasant experience — definitely not as advertised.

Unfortunately, nothing really stood out in a positive way. The location was the only redeeming factor, being relatively close to the city centre.

The property was completely different from the photos advertised. The entryway and stairs were dirty and smelled strongly of cigarettes, which set the tone right away. The room itself had dusty walls, stained and unironed bed sheets, and a strong smell of smoke. The shower was tiny and unclean, with bathroom products just thrown on the floor and a stained toilet — overall, it felt unhygienic and very uncomfortable.

The room was clean and smelled fresh.

The bathroom light was broken. Someone had left dirty food dishes in the kitchen. From outside the property looks run down with dirty curtains and unwashed windows. Woke up in the night with a bed bug crawling on my pyjamas.

When we arrived at the front door we could smell weed.There was another guest shouting ,swearing and kicking doors., we didn't feel safe so we called the host who did nothing so we left as we could see it escalating. Don't be fooled by the photos either. Not a very nice neighbourhood and not a nice host.

during the night time you can't sleep there is some bed bugs eating your body these Chinese owner they don't care or respect with the clients. please be careful with you life the photos you see on their Web page is not true.

Comfortable beds

This was an extremely disappointing stay for the price. The room looked good online but the property feels cheap like a converted student house. When we arrived the room smelled of weed and a downstairs room was playing music so loudly our floor was shaking. In the morning we were woken up by the fire alarm sounding throughout the building and no-one came to switch it off, we had to work out how to use the control panel ourselves. Didn't hear back from Aloha Hosting either regarding my complaint, not even an automated message. The bed was large and comfortable, but not enough to save the overall experience. Wish I'd booked a proper hotel for this price.

Short city stop.

Free parking. Ease of access. Staff were friendly when seen. Good communication with door entry and codes.

Maybe some curtains in place of the blind or as an extra as there was a little gap with either the street lamp or sun coming through. Minor thing though as all was lovely.

Horrible stay never coming back .

Location to town

Horrible room overlooking road and the worst part the curtain does on cover the whole window. No privacy, so noisy pple banging front door while in and out so much noise n chatter in the house . Aweful smell from the toilet . Toiletries filled with half water so u can’t even wash ur hand properly. If u want to sustain the business. Pls keep this comment in mind .
