Authentic charming, comfy apartment in a great location

Had a great stay at this wonderful, ancient building that has been updated in a very charming way. Comfy, quiet, well-appointed. Walking distance to the river, a terrific bakery, the covered market. Loved it!

This is NOT a NEGATIVE, just information that renters should know. Parking is definitely not in front of the apartment, you have to park down by the river. Once you figure that out, it's all fine. In our case, we did not realize there was no outlet on the road, and drove in front to unload our bags, then drove up the hill thinking we would drive around the block but got stuck with only about 6" on either side of the car. It took us about 10 minutes to reverse, do about a 20-point turn and get back down. If you unload in front of the apartment, you must reverse and go down toward the river.

Clean and Spacious in a house with great character in the middle of Joigny

Very Clean. Interesting to stay in such an old build with so much character. It truly is in the heart of Joigny. Close to a boulangerie and to the market.

We could not find the iron, but did not query the hosts for it.

My twelve year old kept saying'It's brilliant here isn't it.'

The apartment is in the medieval part of the town, with loads of character and timber beams, and yet also has all the comforts of modern living. The hosts have made a lovely, restful place full of small details that made us feel very welcome. Everyting we needed was there and we really would have liked to stay longer, it is such a comfortable home from home.

Honestly there is nothing I can think of that needs improving. There is even a pattisserie two minutes from the door to get fresh croissant for breakfast.

Gewoon een leuk authentiek historisch huis. Centraal gelegen en proper.

We waren er tijdens het Bouchon de Joigny evenement. Appartement ligt zeer centraal en alle faciliteiten zoals cafeetje, bakker, supermarché op steenworpafstand. Het is een authentiek huis in een oud straatje. Erg rustig op straat.

Bed op kamer 3 daar zakte ik in het begin door. Oorzaak, enkele bodemlatten waren verschoven en de middenondersteuning stond scheef. Zelf gerepareerd en toen was alles goed. Verder viel er helemaal niks tegen.

Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem alten Fachwerkhaus

Die großzügige Wohnung liegt in einem reizendes Fachwerkhaus in zentraler Lage in der Altstadt. Sie erstreckt sich über den 1. Stock und das Dachgeschoss und ist über eine steile Treppe erreichbar. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll und die Ausstattung hervorragend. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis!

Der Internetzugang ist sehr langsam, aber das scheint in ganz Frankreich so zu sein.

Preiswert, praktisch, abenteuerlich

Die verwinkelte, alte Bauweise, die Balken. Alles sehr pittoresk. Viel Platz, hübsch eingerichtet. Überall Ventilatoren.

Die Lage. Sehr zentral, aber man sieht aus dem Fenster nur einen Hinterhof und eine enge Gasse.

Un très bon séjour dans cette appartement très confor !

L’appartement est placé dans une rue plutôt calme, il est très agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

La pression de l’eau dans la douche n’était pas assez forte et l’eau stagnait. Le lit du haut avec les draps bleus devrait être un peu plus resserré, les pâtes du lit était de travers et les lattes sont très sensibles. Mais les autres lits étaient impeccables 👍🏻

La douche était un peu sensible, il y avait un trou en plein milieu, mais mise à part ça rien à dire
