The property was in a beautiful location looking out over the stunning Mawddach Estuary.For an autumn stay ,it was very inviting,cosy and warm

Perfect. Spotlessly clean, well equiped, comfortable, orchard (lovely apples), opening onto views over the Mawddach estuary. Plus dark skies for star gazing. Great location for walking. Useful ferry from Barmouth harbour across to Fairbourne.

Comfy bed and sofa. The studio was very clean.
On the drive down to Barmouth, the owner phoned us to say, due to drought, please could we not flush the toilet unless we'd done a number two and we should bring our own bottled water to drink as their private reservoir was running low. When we got there, the water was dirty brown for showering and washing up, which was worrying. If we had been told a couple of days earlier, we would have cancelled. Parking was a tight fit with neighbours' too. Window was boarded up, as per the photo.
