Whilst it was functional for a short stay, not as good as others on this holiday for like price

Communication with the host was very clear.

The kitchen facilities were just adequate and there was no information booklet or instructions about the property or appliances. No instructions give about recycling refuse. The property lacked anywhere to hang coats etc.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Laighdykes Cottage

Spacious, well equiped and very clean property. Has a washing machine and access to a small external gym. Richard was great to deal with.

Very little. Internet performance was a bit uneven depending on which part of the property you were located.

Fresh and comfortable

The apartment was new, fresh and comfortable. We were self- catering so we're pleased to have such a lovely kitchen in which to prepare food. The bed was comfortable and the linen was fresh. We requested a clothes airer and had it in minutes! They were so obliging and made our stay very happy. Supermarket was a short drive away. a nice area to be in.

the property and garden were very good. only issue is there is an ensuite in double front bedroom, but no family bathroom. The other bedroom which is through the lounge and kitchen have to come through front bedroom to get to the toilet in the night.

excellent 2 night break

We booked with another couple for a new year/birthday treat . At first we thought the price was incorrect as it was so reasonably priced for new year . Richard , the owner was superb and always kept in contact throughout the stay . Rooms were spacious , very comfortable and WARM! (in fact we turned the radiators off a few times as we're worried about the bills) kitchen well equipped . everywhere was spotless beds comfortable good location to town centre

the only thing for us was the bathroom was an en suite in one of the rooms (it does say this in description, ) but travelling with another couple it wasn't ideal but didn't effect stay at all .

Loved everything about Laighdykes guest cottage. It was like a home away from home. Would hightly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay in a lovely, clean and comfortable apartment in a great location.
