Great communication and fabulous location. Lovely apartment and one we will definitely look to book again. We always book hotels when visiting Troon but after coming here we will check availability for here first.

Comfortable and attractive flat. Well equipped and close to town and sea front. Easy to park. Helpful communication with owner.

Shared outside area, which isn't secure for dogs as main gate off its hinges.

Location, cleanliness, bedroom

Shower facilities cubicle far too small. Couch was uncomfortable. TV small and not WiFi compatible. Garden not secured.

Good location for beach and ferry port, the latter being the reason for booking for one night.

It was very disappointing. The housekeeper had been in and swooshed a bit of water round the shower and left the shower screen and tray wet. The shower tray and runners for shower screen need a very deep clean, it's been a while since this has been done. The bed had been made and looked ok, but it was only when I pulled the covers back you could see no care had been taken in presentation, the inner side of the quilt and pillow cases were very creased and looked like it had been used for a week. Flannelette bottom sheets are not the best. The whole apartment feels like it needs a deep clean and some serious TLC. We haven't used any of the kitchen facilities and not sure I feel like using the shower.  The bedroom door doesn't close as it's stuck on the carpet. We didn't actually use the garden facilities, but it does look unloved. We received a message from the cleaner to remove our rubbish etc, but I didn't remove the leftover food in the fridge from the previous occupiers. From a security point of view the keybox works well but as the apartment is within a tenement style building and the communal front door and rear door are open all the time which could lead to non residents accessing the premises.

This property did not include a breakfast. Although there is a good restaurant close.

The property is listed to accommodate 4 people or 2 couples. The pull out bed in they living room is extremely uncomfortable. The space is quite small and hard to maneuver.

Great location walking distance to town, pub and sea front. Parking outside door, ground floor flat so no stairs involved. Spacious bedroom and living room.

Limited space in kitchen sink area, very poor TV reception, so had to use laptop (HDMI lead was available ) but WIFI kept dropping off, so this also kept freezing. Outside space was shared with neighbouring flats. Electric shower control high up, so had to get into shower to turn it on, but then there was little room to avoid a cold shower until it warmed up.

We loved the Location ! Parking was a breeze we got parked right outside the door , Perfect for a beach getaway with family the Flat is roomy and clean and has everything you need , bed is very comfortable and plenty of extra bedding for the living room sofa bed

My husband is 6 foot 2 so his head was taller than the shower lol but he managed ok The TV does not have great signal so we didn't watch it but that wasn't an issue for us

Location was excellent and there was a good range of facilities in the property such as kitchen supplies and board games.

The outside doors and gates to the property didn't close properly which meant it felt like anyone could access the close area and courtyard. As the courtyard wasn't enclosed it isn't great for young children or pets.

Everything you could need. Great location. Clean and tidy. Good Wifi. Great communication from the owners.

Shower is not the best (nor the worst) signal for TV made it unwatchable.

Great little apartment. Clean and with all amenities. Great location close to good food places (pub and cafe) and very close to the ferry port. Couldn't fault it.

The search for the shower switch. We did find it but it would be helpful to put in the welcome folder😀

Lovely location close to the seafront. Very accessible flat which was ideal for my mum. Good communication from Emma. Looking forward to returning again in the summer.

Great experience we had

Second time staying here, exactly as described. Very quite area. Very Cosy. Just what you want for a weekend away.

Only thing that we had an issue with is the gate that connects the garden to the street where the bins are dosent lock just stays open. Had to put my dog on a longline lead so she wouldn't wonder out onto the street. Not ideal if your traveling with your pet.... this was the only issue, other than this it was almost perfect.

Lovely comfortable appt and very near shops pubs n restaurants, the beach is at bottom of street ideal for dog walking bed is very comfortable , the sofa in lounge isn’t the best for comfort and although place was very clean the fridge and freezer had left over food and ice lollies left over also crisps and few items in cupboard were out of date the garden sitting area is a sun trap but the grass bit at side is very unkempt and needs a little TLC but overall had a very pleasant stay

We stayed for one night when visiting family. Living room got cold at night due to radiator being behind corner seating unit. The wall where the hanging chair was would have been best place to put the radiator. You would would have benefitted from both radiated and convection heat. The rest of the property was warm as nothing in front of them. The boost button made no difference in the living room.

Perfect location. Very cosy. Good WiFi and Comfortable beds. Good communication from the host. Dog friendly.

It was clean enough. However, Corners, skirtings, window sills and blinds were quite dirty. I did clean some of them myself which didn’t take a lot of time ( not the blinds). This didn’t really affect our stay.

Ten mins walk from the Ayrshire Real Ale festival at Troon town hall. Similar distance to all facilities in Troon town centre, and one of the best real ale pubs in the area just round the corner - Number 47. This is a ground floor flat and parking was available right outside the front bedroom window, so no security concerns for car contents. The area is quiet and very down-to-earth. The kitchen had every utensil it is possible to imagine, and a couple that I couldn't even identify. I was hardly in the place in my two day stay, and only used the microwave and washing machine, but it is all set up for medium term stays.

There was leftover food in both fridge and freezer from the previous visitors - eek! I'm all for reuse and save, but that's perhaps taking things too far. Signage in the shower cubicle, that the main power switch is outside, would have helped. None of the wall sockets were converted to dual mains and USB, which is strange nowadays, given that the adaptation costs less than £20. Those were the only Points to Ponder, other than these it was a great wee place, and couldn't have been more ideal for what I required for the Ayrshire Real Ale festival round the corner.

Very well equipped Apt ,all essentials supplied Tea, Coffee, sugar, milk,& more . Bed very comfortable ,garden access ideal as weather was warm & sunny for our stay. So near the beach & town. The Harbour bar a great little Pub for food & a few pints.

Only thing T.V was small & when used to a 46 inch hard to focus on.

It was quaint, practical and central. The host communication was very helpful, accommodating and prompt.

Some tlc required.
