It was in a great location to trains, buses, cog rail and stores.
It was great for the first few days until people occupied the apartment above us and stayed up until about 2:30 in the morning walking very loud.

I loved everything about it. Very convenient location, good communication, & the apartment was spotless, modern, very comfortable and beautifully designed.
If you have heavy bags or cases on wheels, it is easier to take the cable car up one stop from Gora, then walk down to the accommodation from there.
The rooftop space was a bonus, but be aware that the stairs are a bit tricky - steep like a lot of Japanese steps, and there is a beam halfway up that cracks you on the head if you aren't careful.
You're ahead of the crowds here, as day trippers will be coming up from Tokyo or Hakone, and you can be on the cable car as soon as it starts running (8:45am in April).
Don't miss Gora Park, just a little further up the slope, it's really beautiful & has cafés & craft workshops which open at 10am.
