Lovely traditional property with lovely soft tatami matting. Beds were soft and comfortable. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though it's shared bathrooms there's plenty of them so it's not a problem.
It's not that we didn't like it - just know that if you have a lot of luggage you should not roll it across the tatami matting as you might damage it. The staff helped and showed us how to get luggage across floors and where to store it.

Love the historical building we stayed in and spacious family room. The front desk was very helpful when we decided to extend our stay. Clean and beautiful. Right next to a FamilyMart.
Since it is an old building, the walls are thin and it's noisy when people walk by your room.

It was a great experience staying in a traditional Japanese room, the staff was very friendly and it's a 10 minute walk to Kyoto Station
As expected price was high but it was worth it, they don’t offer included breakfast

Close to the train station
Matresscon the floor are not comfortable. Amount which we spent to sleep on the floor is the same as friends spent in the hotel with much more comfort. Noise in ryokan can be heard very easy
