Little corner of paradise at VillaPo

We booked two nights at VillaPo while travelling to Greece so we didn't have to drive too much in one day. Little did we know that VillaPo would be such a beautiful corner of the world, located high on a hill with an amazing view over the valley. The owners were so nice and made us feel welcome, showing us around and telling us we can use the yard as well for relaxation, also offering us delicious fruits as natural sweets. The apartment is large, new, it has everything you need to stay for several days and it's very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, but in the evening we very much enjoyed the garden where there is a swing and a jacuzzi. The area is very quiet and the sunsets are breathtaking, something for the soul to forget about the daily stress! We really hope to return and stay for at least few more days, explore the area more and talk to the hosts about points of interest that can be visited around. Thank you for having us!

Stunning view. Extra-comfy bed, wonderful tarrace and hosts... I would literally love to live there. Hiking paths (rivers, mountains, everything!) Close by, apartament is fully equiped and brand new... I'm speachless and I'll certainly will be back!

Hike, breath, feel ⛰

Initially, we booked this lovely apartment for 3 nights but stayed a bit longer. There were two of us husband and me. It is an excellent location if you like hiking and want to spend time in a quiet area. The owners (Katya & Sasha) are super friendly and hospitable. Ask Katya to make breakfast for you, it's super tasty, and even a vegan option is available! From the apartment, you will have a fantastic view. Watching how the sun walks through Struma river valley is charming. Almost every day, we were granted peaceful and beautifully colored sunsets. The apartment feels new and clean. There is a small kitchen, and you also can use the owner's barbeque and have a lovely dinner outside. The apartment consists of three spaces: a spacious bedroom, a living room with a kitchenette, and a small bedroom that can also be used as a working place. Perfect if you are traveling as a remote worker. There are a lot of options where you can walk. You can take a short walk to the nearest river, take a dip, or climb on the cliff above the house. It's also possible to have a long hike to the mountains. The walk to the first layer of Pirin National park mountains is about 8km one way. You can make it both ways one day or even stay there in a tent. Or just ask Sasha to pick you up on the way back. (remember to ask map with local tracks from the owners). We definitely will come back and explore multiday trails to the Pirin.

The sink is not perfect for washing your dishes. If there are only two of you who don't cook a lot, then it's okay. Otherwise, it is a bit complicated to wash something big (like a pan).

הדירה בקומה 2 מעל המארחים. דירה יפה ונקיה עם 2 חדרי שינה וסלון מרפסת עם נוף ;180 מעלות מאוד מרשים. יחס מעולה של המארחים. במקלחת יש מים חמים בכל השעות עם זרם טוב. במטבח יש מקרר קטן, פלטת חשמל, מיקרו, מכונת קפה וטבליות וקומקום עם שקיקי תה.

במטבח אין כיור. מאוד מגביל ואחת הסיבות שנאלצתי להורדה בדירוג. בעיה נוספת זה הגעה מכביש ראשי שעובר בכפר עם כבישים הרוסים. ואז כביש פנימי לכפר השני. נסיעה בלילה בכביש משובש ללא תאורה עם תקלות בוויז ובגוגל מאפ היא לא חוויה נעימה.
