The Babel Community Hôtel - Vieux Port

The breakfast was amazing with the most fantastic view of Marseille from the roof top terrace. 5 stars !

I think it would be be extremely helpful to have a small fridge in the room

Amazing location very close to Vieux Port and many bars and restaurants. Very good coffee shops close by. The rooms were modern and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable!! And the rooftop bar for breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Such a great place to stay in Marseille. We had a room with a kitchen and lounge and it was much larger than we were expecting. Really nicely decorated and very clean. Right in the centre of town but quiet and amazing value. Would recommend!

Comfortable bed, spacious room and nice breakfast.

It seems to me a product of a startup / trendy mindset as a multilayer but poorly defined space (residential / hotel / cowork) rather than a good comfortable place to stay. The “climatized” room is always warm (they even put a fan in the room in advance so you don’t even bother them), not enough refreshing for Marseille’s temperatures. Also, in the name of cost-saving, water flow in the shower is not strong enough, sometimes you have to place yourself as close as possible to the wall of the water to have some of the weak flow of water over your body. Finally, the room had a terrible old air conditioning smell. I couldn’t wait to leave and would definitely not stay there again.
