There is 24/7 reception desk, which is convenient when you have a late flight. The receptionist was nice and friendly, the location about 10 minutes on foot from the main station and the room was spotless. They left a welcome message and a small Marseille soap as a gift for us. It was lovely. And they have a reasonable air condition in the room. I would come back!

In general, it was ok , it is close to everything.

The weather in Marseille was extremely hot, so I assumed that when I arrived around midday, I could at least leave my luggage before returning at the official check-in time. However, when I came back at the designated check-in time, there was no one to open the door. I rang the bell repeatedly and sent messages for around 13 minutes before anyone responded. This was quite frustrating, especially in the heat. In addition, the staff member who checked me in, Carlos, was not particularly welcoming. I would recommend providing additional customer service training to help improve the guest experience. I also felt that I was not treated as warmly as some other guests, and I hope the property ensures that all guests, regardless of their nationality or background, receive the same level of hospitality and respect.

The location is quite accessible and is only a short walk to the Vieux Port and shopping areas. The area around the hotel is also very lively and full of interesting and shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, if you are on a tight-budget, this hotel is decent enough.

The hotel could use some additional cleaning, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The floor in our room was visibly dirty and had hair in the corners. The bathroom was generally clean, but could have used a little more attention. The rooms also do not have a mini-fridge for storing items of food/drink, which is unfortunate. While I am completely aware of energy saving lights, I think the choice to have bright-white lighting made the rooms feel unpleasant - a softer and warmer tone of light would have been more appropriate.
