Parfait endroit très beau !!

Everything exceeded our (already high!) expectations. The house is so beautiful, charmingly furnished and decorated. Think classic rustic French, very simple but so tasteful. You have everything you need, from the kitchen (with a range of different wine glasses!) to the bathrooms. The house was spotless, the garden perfectly tended, the pool amazing and tidied every evening after a full day of us using it. There were even floats and games, which my kids loved! The property is huge and the surrounding "garden" (it is actually more like a park!) faces a lovely canal/lake (there is even a little boat that you can use). There is a cute kids playing area in the park, the pool has a range of sun chairs, the umbrella, everything is provided. The super cool part is the spa area - we weren't sure where it would be, but the amazing thing is that the (big) room with hot tub and sauna is INSIDE the house. Basically it is the room you go through when you access the lovely ground floor bathroom. So it is completely private and you can use it (paying the extra for it) whenever you want. We have kids and this was so precious for us, as we could use the hot tub after dinner, when the kids were relaxing in their bedroom upstairs. No need to go to a separate hut or to ask to access it - it is yours to use. Last, but not least: Anne was really nice and charming, always happy to help and never intruding (she lives with her husband in the main part of the building), communicating was extra easy so we could arrive late in the evening and she was happy for us to use the pool for a quick dip even if it was almost 8pm (it was super hot!). I think it is clear from this review how happy we have been there, and how much we would love to go back! The area is beautiful, Amiens is lovely (with one of the most magnificent gothic cathedrals in Europe) and the coast less than 1 hour away - we visited Saint Valery sur Somme... the most impressive sunset! What else?!!!!!

Tout. L’établissement possède tout ce dont nous avions besoin pendant notre séjour. La cuisine est très bien équipée, la chambre est très confortable, la salle de bain très jolie. Le logement possède même un jacuzzi et sauna privatif. La propreté des lieux est impeccable. Nous sommes venus avec notre bébé et encore une fois tout avait été prévu avec un magnifique lit bébé, un chauffe-biberon, etc. Le lieu possède un magnifique jardin, idéal si vous venez avec un chien. De plus, un long chemin de plusieurs kilomètres permet une balade à pied ou à vélo sans même devoir prendre la voiture, idéal pour courir. Les hôtes Anne et Patrick sont très sympathiques et disponibles si besoin.

It was a beautifully restored building with a high quality finish. I particularly loved the tiny hay barn and folly. The bed was so comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and the pagoda was stunning. There little tables and chairs positioned around the garden to enjoy every aspect of the view. Our hosts were amazing and provided a lovely welcome pack. Anna went to the trouble of finding a gluten free loaf for my celiac guest, no mean feat in France.

No sink upstairs to wash your hands after going to the toilet. However hand sanitiser provided and a tiny thing that is outweighed by how wonderful everything else was.
