The location of course but the staff were great! For an isolated location that takes a couple of modes of transport to get to, it’s a great place to relax! Not luxury but perfect for the location, you are not missing anything!

Water but that is a Brazil thing. Since you cannot drink from the tap, access to bottled water is your only option and you have to pay (except at breakfast). Brazil is the only place I have had to reach for the minibar before I can head to the local shop for water.

Very comfortable toilet xD Beautiful beach and you can get an umbrella and deck chair for free.

They don’t let you bring in food from outside because they have a “restaurant” which only works in the evening, plus you have to preorder the food. It’s also crazy expensive. I recommend you do the laundry prior to coming there, because that is also very expensive (20€ for 10 pieces of underwear!) - and they mixed up our laundry with someone else’s. They kindly offered us a boat tour which would drop us of at Abraao as our next destination if the weather is nice. Reassuring us that it would be possible and without even hinting that the weather is not suitable they cancelled the morning of our departure. Of course we understand the weather is unpredictable (even though that day it was sunny) but then don’t reassure us if you think it’s not 100%🤪 Otherwise it’s good and the staff are nice (even though they don’t speak english).
