The location is good
It was not clean at all. There was hair in the bedding, the kitchenware was dirty, the floor was dirty. And worst of all, it was infested by cockroaches. Quite noisy.

Very comfortable, nice staff, nice location, perfect spot since in front you have a lot of facilities. Supermarket, food places…
The pillow wasn’t great

The accommodation itself was fine. However, after checking out, we left our luggage at the shop where we had picked up our room keys and checked in. When we returned and collected our luggage, we noticed that it had been searched, €20 had been stolen from us, and someone had eaten our chocolate. We found traces of chocolate in the trash can, as well as the money that had been stolen. It was strange that when they handed us our luggage, they told us to call them if there would be a problem. We were rushing to catch the train, so we couldn't check our luggage right away. We didn't expect this to happen to us in Zurich. We called them several times, sent several messages through Booking, and tried to contact them by email, but they didn't respond. It's shocking that this could happen, especially in Switzerland. We were very saddened that they betrayed our trust!

Very good value in a very expensive city. A little basic, but perfectly adequate for a sol traveller.

Walking distance to Zurich HB, train station.
"you pay peanuts, you get monkeys" I guess the accommodation was in accordance with price. The room was very small, in a very busy and noisy area. Next to a restaurant take away that is busy until very late at night. Was supposed to be a double room, but we got to single beds put together, very uncomfortable. Staff will change the towels. However, they left the beds as they found them.....

Good location and great value. We paid less but there was everything we needed.
We had also a beautiful terrace!!
There is no elevator.
The shower was uncomfortable and the water doesn’t go down.

Open 24/7 with a shop - very convenient

The beds were comfortable and it was handy to have a shop in reception plus free coffee. The City centre and train station are only 15 mins walk away.
The shower needs a deep clean. It was a hot night and although there was a portable air conditioner in was rubbish. We therefore had to open the windows which allowed in a lot of noise from the street. The plug sockets in the room don’t take normal EU adapters I had to buy a different one from the shop next door.

The accommodation has pretty much everything you would need for an overnight stay. We received a nice welcome and easy check-in/out from the host who was in the shop downstairs. Incidentally, in an expensive city, having the shop available to buy drinks and breakfast items was a real positive. Some locals raised their eyebrows when we told them the name of the street we were staying on (which has a bit of a reputation), but it was never a problem for us.
The room was up several flights of stairs which, when carrying suitcases on a hot day, is a bit inconvenient. But, overall, I'd stay here again.

Excellent location and 15 minute walk from the main train station. A range of restaurants to suit all tastes on your doorstep. We ate at the Japanese restaurant which was 2 minutes away and was excellent. The staff at the hotel were lovely and the shop which serves as the reception is open 24 hours so check in was so easy. The shop sells everything you would need when travelling. The beds are super comfy and we had everything we needed. Very happy
My shower was a bit rubbish but my sister was in the next room and hers was fine.

Location near Central railway station.
The mobile air conditioning was underpowered and noisy, meaning that windows had to be opened, which meant lots of street noise which meant little sleep. In addition curtains were half off there tracks, meaning could not make room dark and contributed to lack of sleep

Location near train station
No air conditioner. Too hot at night. Couldn’t sleep. Noisy street.

Close to the central station. Clean enough. Good beds. Modern locks on doors, we felt safe. Sweet staff that speak English. Enough sound-isolated Windows. Many interesting restaurants in the neighborhood. Water from tap drinkable.
Worn. Rough clientele in the convenience store that is the reception. No ac, heavy traffic outside, and restaurants’ noisy ac’s. Very hot in summer.

To get an early check-in I accepted a fourth floor room. My choice, but it was quite a walk to and fro up the stairs. It is a little unusual to go through a convenience store to get to the room but it does give you access to snacks when needed.
The location is in a nice neighborhood and close to mass transit. Close enough to walk downtown if need be.
Room was smaller than most I have stayed in Europe. Bed is a single, so beware.

Gasthaus 210 is a budget hotel with 4 small rooms on each of the three floors available. We got what we paid for and would stay there again if we were only spending a few days in Zurich.
A little more elbow-grease put into the little things when cleaning the units. At first glance it is clean, but with a closer look it could defiantly be better. We were just 2 days in Zurich and for us it was fine.

Excellent location, near central station in Zurich and very close to the center, old town. It was clean with a mini kitchen. Free coffee i the small store at the ground floor/recetion, very pleasent welcome person. In Zurich prices. Value for money.
The room was on the 4th floor. No elevator. The beds met minimal requirements in size, as did the room, bearly to move, bathroom also.
One chair, 2 people.

Basic, budget hotel near the city centre, enough for a cheap weekend in the city.
Rooms need some maintenance and cleaning can be improved, street is noisy in the night.

The house had everything we were looking for. Every little detail was considered. It was clean and comfortable
There were minor problems but they were resolved quickly. The elevator was a bit old and unreliable.
5.0 / 10.0
Price wise it’s the best option in Zurich
The fact they are a convenient store as well too many people at a time bring stranger people too

Easy to find and fairly good location.
My confirmation paperwork stated a balcony. When I raised this with host, I was told simply that not all rooms have a balcony. My teeny tiny room was up four flights of stairs (no lift). Although cleaning standards were good on the whole, there was a used tissue from a previous guest under the bed along with what looked like bits of dried food. Bed was comfortable, but I came away with bites on my legs. I couldn't say for sure if they were bed bug bites or midges. No hairdryer and I wasn't going to walk down and up four flights of stairs to ask the host. I had planned to leave my suitcase after checking out while exploring, but I changed my mind having seen other luggage left at the bottom of the stairs - bearing in mind entrance is through a 24/7 shop so anyone could have access. Price was more than expected (although till receipt looked accurate) but it's more than the currency conversion and I haven't yet had bank charges added.

I would have been good if I had known the room was above a convenience store. When I turned off of Limmatplatz the street name was not given on the street so it was confusing to know if I actually was on the right street.

A 12 minute walk from Zurich Main Station which was ideal. The rooms are located above a 24/7 shop! Plenty of food options on the street outside, including McDonald's if you are that way inclined. The room had a kitchen bit with a microwave. It was very quiet for a good sleep.

It’s very close to the main train station, that helps a lot
The floor feels greasy
The worst was that it was too hot inside the room and not even a table fan to help it out; open the window was a “no way” since it’s very loud outside but that I understand. But at least a fan to help the costumers with the high temperature inside the room would be great.

Clean and friendly staff. Good location
Hot and no AC. Loud when window was open

Room was clean
The bed is very small; and the room is small enough that the bed touches 3 walls. Further, although the rooms are soundproof, there is no airconditioning or fans. So if it is hot, the (small) room is a furnace with the windows closed; with the windows open you are on the edge of the red light district in Zurich and so it is very noisy. In the winter this likely isn't a problem.
The price for what they are offering is high. My advice would be to look elsewhere - especially in the summer

Location was close to the train station. The room was clean.
Hotel room is falling apart. Similar to living in India with no care to attention to maintenance and customer expectations. Broken light fictures, leaky sink facet, no good storage.
