About this apartment rental
A very bright apartment on third floor with south- faced balcony and amazing view on the Canal della Giudecca. The pleasing and sunny Zattere promenade is around the corner with his restaurants, following it along the Canal della Giudecca you will arrive in a few minutes at the town's artistic heart with the most famous modern art museums: the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Emilio Vedova foundation, the Pinault museum on Punta della Dogana, from wich you will enjoy one of the most beautyfull views on the Bacino di San Marco.
Reaching the apartment is quite easy, the public boat stop "San Basilio" is just 150 meters far.
From Marco Polo airport you have to take the bus n.5 destination Piazzale Roma, then you will board the public boat n.6 destination Lido and get off at S.Basilio stop.
Someone from the staff will meet you at the boat stop to guide you to the apartment.
From the public boat stop "Zattere" you can reach almost every site on the town and the lagoon.

PROs- I believe this is the best price for such a view that accepts dogs in Venice. Very large with two balconies. Air conditioner in the bedroom. Excellent location to fan out to the numerous sites and restaurants. San Basilio pier (#2 & #6 water buses) a block away. You can arrive by land and quickly from the airport.CONs- The bedroom air conditioner cannot cool the entire apartment. We closed the living room and bathroom doors and it kept the bedroom and kitchen cool during the day, at night close the kitchen door and open the living room door, but less cool. The living room balcony is narrow and the air conditioner unit is at the end and blows hot air on you. No microwave. Only one kitchen towel. No bedding for the sofa couch in the living room. Third floor and no elevator.OVER ALL- Excellent for view and location. Conad grocery store a block away. Easy to find your way using Google map. The third floor apartment gave me needed exercise. ENJOY

The appartment is in a lovely local area of Venice. It was good to wander in the immediate area if we wanted to escape the crowds! The views of the canal and waterways from each window was breathtaking and sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the boats go by was a treat,It is worth noting there is no lift in the building so the walk up and down to the flat was fine but not if you have walking difficulties.A fabulous stay!

The area is very quiet and far from crowds of tourists. It is easy to get there by vaporetto. We went there by foot from bus station (may be not good idea, but it took about 15 minutes). There was a supermarket Billa very close to the house. The appartments are very comfortable.
