Easy check-in. Good local neighborhood location close to many attractions and dining. Only downside was bed was not the most comfortable m.

Despite many bridges from the train stations, it takes 15 mins walk with luggage to the property. This place is one of my amazing stays during my trip. It’s close to a grocery store and has small kitchen and coffee machine. Will come back again.

Very happy with our stay. The host responded quickly by WhatsApp when I missed the email about how to enter the building. The place is very clean, close to the Vaporetto (don't even need to go up stairs and over bridges to get to the building), a very convenient location. Also has a kitchen with supplies that I wasn't expecting. I would definitely stay again if I get the opportunity to visit Venice again!

The room was prepped and ready earlier than the listed check-in time, which was really nice since we had an early train from Florence to Venice. There was access to coffee/tea and some snacks in the common kitchen if you wanted. The building was clean. The room was clean and all the amenities worked well. It was about a 10 minute walk from/to the bus station (Piazzale roma) which takes you to/from the VCE airport/train station in 30 minutes. The stay on island was located away from a lot of commotion, which was nice, and the other guests in the building were quiet. Walkable to St. Mark’s square and other museums and churches. Many good restaurants around and only a short water taxi away from other parts of the island for more exquisite dining. Overall, great budget-friendly stay and exactly as posted. Grazie Mille!

For the price, the location & quality of stay was fabulous. Just keep in mind that it's not a hotel; it's a guesthouse. There isn't daily housekeeping. But that's fair given the affordable pricing. The room was very clean and spacious. I think the walls are extremely thin but other guests were very quiet and courteous so the stay was very pleasant. No complaints and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Venice!

Location was great. Near vaporetto, shops and restaurants, two beautiful churches and yet off the main tourist trail so quiet. Easy to find and access the property. It was really nice to have use of the kitchen area with coffee machine and a few breakfast snacks. Also some nice touches in the room. Single room was quite small but had everything. Only fridge was a bit noisy.

I really enjoyed my stay. It is self service and they email you an access code with instructions. I had a simple twin single. It is about a 5 min walk from the ca’Rezzonico vaporetto stop. The orange line boat from the airport also stops there. Plus no bridges between the stop and the guest house if you have luggage. Lots and f cafes around and shops. Close to Santa Maria glorioso Del frari and two vaporetto stops from San Marco.

The Santa Margherita Guesthouse was great. Our room was clean and beautiful. Check-in was easy and Maria had tons of little things that made the stay so nice-candies and biscotti in the room, guidebooks and maps available etc. It was easy to find and close to shopping and restaurants. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this guesthouse to family and friends.

Maria was amazing. Bery accomodating with our needs amd very understanding. She gave us excellent food recommendations and tips for traveling the city. The room was clean. And the AC worked amazingly in the Aigust heat and humidity. The location is prefecture located in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance to all the sights and excellent food.

The property is very accessible- even for a girl with a broken ankle! The staff (Maria) is delightful and so very helpful. Every tip and trick she shared was perfect and I could tell it was a pleasure for her to assist in any way she could. My room had everything I needed and the bathroom was perfectly clean. We really enjoyed our stay. We didn't have super high expectations since it was a 2* but it exceeded them anyway. It was safe, clean, easy to find and quite comfortable. Would recommend to anyone!

This is a lovely place to stay. Close to Campo Santa Margherita, it's a small guesthouse with comfortable rooms. Breakfast is provided in a small self-service kitchen. The owner is immediately contactable, and very attentive. Ideal base for exploring the delights of Venice.

Loved our place, excellent location, host went above and beyond in providing assistance. Because of the heat in Venice we were pleased to have a place to relax during the day. We also enjoyed the two nearby “campos” and getting lost in the Venice “calles.” We would definitely go back to the Santa Margherita Guesthouse!!

Nice breakfast and has a community kitchen if you want to prepare meals. The room was adequate and clean. Short walk to Campo San Barnaba for food and drink. Easy walk to vaporetto stops Rezzonico,Basilio and Zattere. If you like the B&B type of place, this is for you. We would not hesitate to stay again.

I was in the single room above the street make sure to close the shutters and windows so you dont hear the bell tower or street noise, the room was cleaned daily nice private bathroom (a lot of places have shared so this was a bonus) there’s breakfast available which consists of cereal and a few jams etc. Always coffee and juice available but towards the vaperetto stop there’s a few little cafes and bakery so I had my breakfast there! There’s an amazing garden restaurant just at the end of the road (which I can’t remember the name of) but you follow a little side path to find it.Maria was always a message away she even helped me with directions for for my return journey as I was travelling back through Treviso the bus stop at pl.Roma is just a 10 minute walk to the airport. Overall I adored my stay and would recommend and stay again!

My 2nd stay at this excellent Guesthouse situated in a lovely residential area of Venice. Maria and her staff are friendly and helpful, my room was comfortable and clean with plenty of hot water and a great shower in the bathroom. Thank you Maria for another wonderful visit!

Nice quiet location but close to the ferry with direct lines to the airport and st. Mark's square. The walk to St Marks isn't too far and well worth the effort. Lots of local bars and restaurants close to the hotel

Breakfast is unattended and only from 8:30 to 9:30. We had to leave earlier to catch our flight. Since breakfast is only pre-packaged goods (nothing fresh) it would be better if it started at 7:30. Also, coffee is not very good. In-room tea kettle was helpful. Check-in is done remotely via email - no on-site person. Map provided by email was very helpful. It is very close to the ferry from Croatia and Alilaguna ferry to airport.
