The Tottam Beach Hotel - Trincomalee

The location is quiet and just absolutely stunning. The accommodation is very comfortable, the hotel has 7 units so not too many people about, it was extremely relaxing. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The chef is an unbelievable fabulous cook. Felt like we became apart of their family, great hospitality. We tried to book more nights, but they were fully booked, we understand why now! Highly recommended if you want relaxing, quiet time but the option to go into the town for lively evenings.

Loved every bit of the hotel.

The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. They really made us feel at home. We also had dinner at the resort and it was delicious, and breakfast was excellent too. The beach was very peaceful and quiet, with hardly any people around, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

There weren’t many restaurants or busy areas nearby, so you need to take a tuk-tuk or taxi if you want to visit the more lively and popular beaches. However, if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place away from the crowds, this can actually be a big advantage.

The hospitality was outstanding, warm and friendly. The wonderful chef went out of his way to create vegetarian/vegan meals for us that were divine!
