Viyona Guest House

The property has a good location, around 200 metres from Trincomalee Beach, and the AC in the room was working well. We also appreciated being able to use the kitchen, which had useful facilities, including plates and the option to boil water, and we could even cook.

However, there were several issues with our stay. The room was very small, while the bathroom was unusually large. There was no table or suitable space to keep our belongings, so we had to keep most of our things on the floor, which was inconvenient. We were also told that a mosquito net would be provided, but it was not available when we arrived. We ordered breakfast from the property, but unfortunately, the food quality and cleanliness were disappointing. This was the biggest negative part of our stay.

Great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One of the best things is that the beach is just a short walk away, making it very convenient to enjoy the sea and sunsets. Overall, a pleasant experience and good value for money. I would happily stay here again.
