Great infrastructure but...

Really very good conditions in the room

I was travelling for work and my train was 40 minutes late in the morning. Unfortunately, that's a risk when choosing accommodation in smaller towns. The staff were really abrupt upon arrival. They claimed my credit card doesn't work. Then said "you have to pay now"! No welcome, no sorry. Where are your manners?

Ok, but disappointing

Clean, nice if you like the old schools style

Not sure why it was so well ranked by other people. Big criteria for me was parking (included) as I have a car that I need to park for the night, and safely, turn out the hotel as only like 5 spots available in a very small street next to the hotel, of course full ... they found me a free spot 200m meters away in the street, better than nothing, but fairly disappointing.. just for that I would have choose another place to not have to worry about that and I always feel like I was scammed in this kind of situation.. In the room main light was broken, shower head attachment was broken, and overhaul everything was pretty rustic (no chair, stool, ...), nothing horrible but disappointed.

Great hotel 20 min from Leukerbad

Very clean, Kind staff was above expectation. Reach breakfast, dinner was good. Family room was wide with amaizing view of wine yard and Walis mountains

- great location in middle of village (easy access to hiking the surroundings) - rooms simple but functional - restaurant (with outside terrace) serves great food (and is well visited) - very friendly staff - very good value for money

- hotel is very close to local church, so the church bells ring every 15 min

The bed are definitively too small (short) although I am only 181 cm tall. The bells of the church... but there are ear plugs at disposal (I saw them too late). Thanks

One night is enough

Location is in center of Salgech. The room is quite big We stay in “cabane de vignes” Park8ng is not far, near banks and restaurants.

the pillow is not comfortable. The shower is small. the coffee is not really good.

Un séjour dans un beau village qui aurait pu être plus confortable!

L’accueil, la gentillesse du personnel

Les deux radiateurs de la chambre étaient froids (vannes thermo défectueuses) avec une température extérieure de -10oC un soir de 31 décembre. Le propriétaire a installé un petit radiateur électrique mais celui-ci était arrêté à notre arrivée et il a fallu plusieurs heures pour chauffer la chambre. Après avoir vraiment insisté, nous avons reçu un dédommagement, mais pas d’excuse sincère, ni explication. De plus le « lit berceau » est inconfortable et très bruyant!

Ich habe das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen gebucht und dafür war es super

Das Hotel liegt in Fussdistanz zum Bahnhof, das war der Haupt-Grund für meine Buchung. Zudem ist es preislich in Ordnung und es hat mir auf der Website gefallen. Vor Ort haben sich meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Der Einkaufsladen direkt vis à vis für Proviant-Einkäufe ist ideal. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker.

Ich hatte ein "Erlebnis-Zimmer" gebucht, weil ich ein breites Bett wollte. Die andern Zimmer haben laut Buchungsseite 2 Einzelbetten. Ich habe nicht ganz verstanden verstanden, was daran genau das Erlebnis sein soll, im Zimmer hingen ein paar alte Gegenstände und die Möbel waren rustikal. Die Hauptbeleuchtung war leider sehr hell, eine starke Glühbirne in einer offenen Fassung. Für ein romantisches Wochenende zu zweit wäre das nicht passend gewesen, aber ich war ja allein :-). Ansonsten war ich mit den Zimmer zufrieden und ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, grosse Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet, sehr zentral gelegen, Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir hatten unseren Autoschlüssel verloren, er wurde zu unserer Freude gefunden. Wir bekamen ihn per Post nach Hause gesendet. Was für ein Service! Dankeschön.

Gerne immer wieder.

Die Lage ist sehr schön. In kurzer Zeit ist man an traumhaften Orten im Wallis. Und das Dorf Salgesch selber ist sehr ruhig. Auch das eigene Restaurant ist ein Besuch wert. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

L'hôtel accueillant, le personnel sympathique et de bons plats au restaurant

Le personnel est vraiment gentil et sympathique. Je devais partir tôt le lendemain et on m'a préparé un sandwich pour prendre avec. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est accueillant avec le choix des plats et le prix correcte.

Le lit simple est comfortable et j'ai bien dormi. Mais il pourrait être assez petit pour certaines personnes.
