Disappointing , would not recommend
Good location
I booked this hostel because of its high rating, but the actual experience was very disappointing. The bed linen and blanket were very dirty. There was hair on the bed, visible yellow stains on the blanket, and the pillow was also unclean. It felt like the bedding had not been properly washed or sanitized. The hostel did provide towels, but they were extremely rough and stiff, almost like a floor mat, and not comfortable to use at all. On top of that, I lost hot water halfway through my shower, and this happened in winter, which made the experience even worse. For a hostel with such a high rating, the level of cleanliness and basic facilities does not match expectations. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it.

My stay was under 30min as I quickly realized the facility was too unsanitary to stay in.
The location was good and the staff I had contact with via Viber and through Booking were very prompt and helpful. All the instructions given were fantastic, clear and on point. That was a very good and clever way to have a late check in and I was glad for that.
The fact that the photos of the bathroom were very far from reality. Towels provided were washed but had mold stains and were in poor shape. Nothing from the photos of the bathroom was provided and I was in shock to see how unsanitary the whole place was. The bathroom was in a very poor shape, there was urine all around the toilet, the floor was wet and stinky, the sink was very dirty and cleaning supplies were not provided. There was a moldy towel and half spent package of wipes underneath the sink, that stank of stale unwashed clothes. This was really not ok, and I do hope this review helps the hostel do better or at least have a better routine when it comes to cleaning. That was not acceptable at all for the price and was the reason I chose to cancel and leave, as I got an opportunity to do so. I do really regret the booking of this location and I do feel this was a complete scam! Beware!

The location is good! Just bring towels and earplugs!
We stayed in a twin room. It was pretty okay to sleep just one night. The location was amazing. Walkable to the old town and many restaurants/cafes/bars nearby. The price was super reasonable for the private room, so I didn't expect much, though we deeply regretted that we didn't bring earplugs... The staff was kind. The balcony was nice!
Cleanliness and sound insulation were the main issues. The hallway and stairway leading to the hostel entrance smelled like urine. The room itself was clean enough, but the pillow was so old that I could feel dirt and saliva from previous guests. There was a lot of aged, open, stale, and forgotten food in the fridge. The towel provided was not really a towel, but a very worn-out rug—still usable, but I’d recommend bringing your own. Sound insulation was extremely poor. You could hear everything from the common space and the bathroom next to the room — doors slamming, people talking, dishes clanking, and more.

The dirtiest hostel ever
Nothing - please avoid this place
This was by far the dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in. The bed had someone else’s hair and visible dirt on the sheets, and the towels provided were old and musty. Guests leave their belongings scattered everywhere and hang their clothes to dry all around the common areas, making the place feel even more chaotic. The floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months, and the bathroom was equally filthy, with other people’s towels lying around. Everything felt worn-out, neglected, and unhygienic. On top of that, the sound insulation was terrible—you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, and from the outside as well. The one of public transport lines is in the same street. Reception only works until 5 PM, and if you try to call afterward, nobody answers. It honestly feels like they don’t care at all about the guests. When I complained about a roommate who snored loudly all night, the receptionist showed no concern and offered no solution. It also seemed that many people were living there long-term, treating the hostel as their permanent home. This made the atmosphere feel less like a place for travelers and more like an overcrowded residence, which added to the discomfort and lack of safety. I would strongly advise avoiding this hostel.

I would definitelly recommend and I will come back!
Comfortable bed, kind hosts, spacey rooms, nice kitchen, very clean, warm.
Self check in is a bit painful for the first time. The lock, where the key is, is a bit difficult to open.

A budget central stay in Belgrade
The hostel has a very central location, very close to Tasmajdan and St Mark's Church (5 min walk max.) as well as to the nearest bus and tram stops, which makes it very convenient to get there both from/to the central bus station and the airport. Though the hostel offers mixed rooms, it was really appreciated that they still tried to separate males and females upon availability (so in my room, we were only girls). The room was very spacious, having lockers (with a key (for free) and with a code (for an extra charge), so one can choose between them), a table and 3 chairs. There were 2 types of beds in the room (like in the pictures), and i was lucky to get the one with a curtain, which seemed a lot more comfortable than the other type. The bed linen was nice and fresh, the mattress and the pillow - very comfortable. The window opened to a rather noisy street. But when we closed it, the room was quiet enough, and the A/C helped to keep a comfortable temperature. There are 2 bathrooms in the hostel, which was enough, though sometimes one had to wait. A towel was included in the rate, but there were no toiletries, only some liquid soap, so it's better to have yours. The kitchen was well-equipped and convenient if you need to cook or keep your food in a fridge; the common living area was spacious and comfy. There are also 2 small balconies if you want to spend some time outside. The rooms and the common areas were cleaned every day, which was nice. The hostel was accessible 24/7 with an entry code; the reception personnel were there from 9 till 17, and they were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, but the checkin and checkout hours were strict. Still one could leave their luggage and stay either in the living room or walk around the city if they need to wait. I liked my stay there and will be happy to come again.
Overall, the hostel was nice and clean, but a bit dated, so some renovation would be good, especially in the bathrooms, as well as chemical cleaning of the improvised sofas in the living area
