Hostel Karavan Inn

Clean and tidy hostel. I thought 6 women w 1 bathroom in the room would cause traffic but there weren’t any issues. There isn’t staff who work all day around the clock but when I got to talk to the receptionist in the morning, she is so funny and helpful. I enjoyed talking to her.

I had a fantastic stay in Belgrade, and I would especially like to thank Jovana at reception. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful from the moment I arrived. Despite my short time in the city, she gave me a wealth of information about Serbian culture and history, which I greatly appreciated. As I am currently writing a thesis comparing Yugoslavia with communist-era Poland, her recommendation to visit the Museum of Yugoslavia was particularly valuable. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip and an excellent use of my limited time in Belgrade. She also recommended the restaurant Dva Jelena in the city centre, where I had a wonderful meal and a great introduction to local cuisine. Her suggestions helped me experience much more of the city than I would have on my own. Jovana's kindness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing her culture made a lasting impression on me. I am very grateful for all her advice and assistance, and she played a big part in making my stay so memorable. Thank you, Jovana!

The staff were lovely the rooms were clean but the kitchen was a bit rough.

The hours of the desk were not always set so sometimes getting help was challenging. Some of the longer term guests were extremely inconsiderate and entitled playing music loud and not listening.

Good price and kind of clean room but still not clean. Balcony with a okey view. Easy access to building. Info in negative section.

Beda had spring mattress and not comfortable and had no mattress protection which is nasty and really old bed with full of stains. Pillows hasn't probably ever been washed as they were full of saliva stains and more brown than white and should definitely need new pillows or wash them regularly and use a pillow protector. Probably ok for some people but as I travelled for just one night on a budget it was Okey but not more than that. I will not return. No toiletries like soap or shower gel.
