Via Slavija Hostel

Quiet backyard, decent bed, and conversations with the owner. This small hostel is new and it’s normal that a few small things aren’t perfect, but the owner is friendly and warm and I wish you the best with everything!

When I arrived the person who checked me in didn’t say “hello, welcome!” or smile or anything. Just “check in”? You never know what someone might be going through, but after a long journey a small gesture would have made a big difference. This service was a bit too blunt/functional for the cost of the room in my opinion. Bathroom had a strange smell like smoke. I’d ditch all the plastic plants and mismatched decor and just focus on better sheets and a fixture for the shower head. Beds were comfy enough. The WiFi was infuriating until I connected to the right one (which wasn’t the one we were told to connect to)
