The staff were welcoming.
The place was crawling with bedbugs. They shouldn't be allowed to operate a business. I had to escape in the middle of the night

Airco didn't work when I got there and I had to get into a discussion gor them to fix it but it worked at the end
WiFi was good
Location was good
5 EUR fee for leaving my luggage is a TOTAL RIP OFF!! I would have given this a higher score but once you try and rip me off, all bets are off!
1 bathroom (per gender) for the whole hostel....not good at all
The bed was old and you could feel the coils into your back and ribs....didn't sleep well
The outer facade / entrance is utterly depressing

Perfect localization, i could do everything on foot. But Belgrade has free transportations.
Smell of the room, smell terribly bad the drains from bathroom and lot of mold and dust in the room. Also the water in shower goes everywhere and the water is not going down the pipe.

First reception guy was ok and location is ok
Do not stay here. Bed bugs. I found them after I left, and messaged this hostel to let them know. They rudely told me I was wrong and I'm the first to say this and that it was mosquitoes. I know this is not true because I worked in a hostel for 3 years (and saw many cases of bed bugs!) and I know it was not mosquitos. There were also other reviews about bed bugs so I know I am not the first. A further message from me went unanswered. Reception guy also was watching tv very loudly at 6am which woke us up.

the location is quite nice and the rooms are pretty much okay, the staff changes daily and theyre usually understanding and helpful.
the kitchen is not always clean and the guests dont clean their dishes properly so even when you want to use something from the cupboard its not always well washed. and because of the location its almost always noisy outside, which can be a bit disturbing sometimes.

Great location! Just a short walk from the bus terminal and Old Town.
It would be nice if we could wait in the lobby after checkout. I had a couple hours before my bus was scheduled to depart, but the lady working at the front desk didn't want me sitting there.

Very nice place
I didn't live in the hostel itself. Wi-Fi does not work well in the private room, also there it's cold on cold days (the heater only works at night) because the private room located separately from the hostel and has many external walls.

In the heart of the city, very close to train and bus station. What you pay is exactly what you get.

Nice small hostel in a good location close to the railway station (which is closed) and to the bus station (which is open).
Wifi is fine, beds are ok, good value for money.

Staff were friendly and easy to approach. The location is very good!
The bathroom and kitchen could have been a little cleaner. Toilet paper was often missing. The bed pillows were too big and uncomfortable to sleep on. Some guests were loud.

Location
It was dirty
6.0 / 10.0
The location was good because it was near the centre and having seen other hostels in Belgrade, this one seemed ok.
The pictures don't match the actual rooms and the building itself seems run down on the outside.

Close to the station, the kind host, towels for free of charge, cheap price.
Only one bathroom for women(another one is for men), no place to hung things on( such as towels), kitchen is so small, a bit too messy and not clean.

The place is alright. Don't expect much. The location is really good and they've got a small kitchen and my room was ok, I can't complain at all. It's was a good experience overall. I'd book them again.

Location was quite good - very near to the bus station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and plenty of public transport offerings to further places in town.
Host was OK, and spoke a little English, and was patient during language difficulties. Also they have a member of staff there 24/7, which was very good in case anyone needed this.
Price was cheap.
Hostel attracted some world travellers - which made it interesting.
Room overall was quite cozy.
Bathrooms were not very clean - especially the sinks. Also it backed on to an empty corridor, almost like the bathroom is a shell (this didn't have any negative impact, but it just looked weird to look out of the bathroom window and see this).
Some times the wifi was abysmal, and there are multiple networks; some worked better than others (I only found this out on my final day).
It's located in a strange courtyard (up a flight of stairs in the middle), it looked very forboding, especially when I arrived very near to midnight on my first night. A fellow guest reported someone wouldn't let her sit in the courtyard - not sure who owns the place.
Pillows were very cylindrical - I am used to them being flatter.
Bottom bunk too short to sit upright on, so I had to use a chair.
Attracting some irritating guests (who I think were long stay) and kept opening the net curtain - and then we had more mosquitos than guests! Also they rarely washed up - although I don't cook, the sink in the kitchen was always filled with either crockery or food scrapings.

The man at the reception was very kind and hospitable, he suggested us a lot of places for food and what we need know about the city.

The staff was really friendly, specifically Bogdan who gave me nice tips
Bathroom was a little smelly

In this case, it really is "you get what you pay for". The hostel is very average and they don't seem to care very much about improving but the location is great!
There are big lockers in the dorms which is very handy and there are 2 sockets next to each bed with a little shelf.
No living area really (one small table in kitchen, one small table outside)
Staff controls the AC and you need to ask for it all the time (they only accept to leave it on for an hour or 2 at a time)
I might have been unlucky but I had to ask for toilet paper every day
Bare minimum in the kitchen to cook/prep meals (no tea towel, no microwave, no drying rack, one stove)

The staff were nice. The place is really close to the city center. But the dorm room beds were very uncomfortable, they made my back hurt a lot and the rooms were so smelly, I didn't want to stay in most of the time. The price is cheap but a lot of things could be improved.

Close to the bus station and to the town. Usually quite clean and quiet.
When I visited the weather was extremely hot but the air conditioning was only allowed on for a few hours at a time and wasn't left on over night. It was impossible to sleep when the room became very hot and humid. We even asked at one point if they could leave it on over night and they said it was against the rules. On my last night the host locked the front door to the hostel and wouldn't let me sit on the terrace when I couldn't sleep. It felt more like a prison than a hostel.
The toilets often ran out of paper and the kitchen was a bit small and not well equipped.

nice style, nice people
it‘s a little run down but still bearable
