excellent location just of the highway. The room was of a very good size and the bed was confortable. A very good breakfast with a lot of options.

Poor check in, decent room

Breakfast was fine with sufficient options. Shower was nice and the bed as well. Room was very spacious. There was also sufficient parking which was nice. Overall, fine room.

Check in was very poor, the receptionist did not communicate at all and just stared at her screen and every now and then at me as if I were some kind of ghost. Then we couldn't enter the room with the card she gave us and blamed it on poor wifi. Next morning the other receptionist tells us we don't need wifi for using our card(?????). Very strange experience to be honest. Was surprised that we ended up being able to get into the room.

Fantastic location, really good price quite a new looking property absolutely perfect for a stop off on a long journey. I was given a particularly warm welcome by the night staff and the next morning again a lovely welcome and a banging breakfast. Really impressed, a lot cleaner and newer than properties in a similar group. And I would stay again and recommend without any hesitation.

The only thing, absolute only thing and I am nitpicking is the fact that it smelt of cigarettes everywhere. I assume it was more guests leaning out of window smoking rather than coming down and smoking outside of the property which is an inherent problem in French hotels. Didn’t matter I got used to it but I wouldn’t choose that, it’s quite a regular in France I have found

Rooms are bigger than the usual campanile. AC functions and is not noisy. Bathroom reasonably sized and clean.

This is a regular hotel not the motel - style accommodation Campanile usually offers, and that is so practical when traveling with animals. This hotel is a concrete block in an industrial complex, so there is no green for a walk with dogs. If you need to stay around Metz with this kinds of needs, take the other campanile in town, technopark, there is green all around and it's also much more quiet than this one - which is practical being next to the motorway, but it is so close you hear the traffic all night long.

Nice staff, but the property needs some love and maintenance

All the staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was ok. Managed to also get a room tight away after our car broke down.

Had to change room twice because the blinds were broken in one room and the toilet in the next one. The rooms also smelled of old smoke and damp in the bathrooms, with ceiling tiles missing in the corridors and dirty lampshades

It's right next to the autoroute, which is what we needed. Breakfast is good. Family room isnt very big but adequate.

The room had a bed small, like there had been smoked (and then tried to cover it up with some cleaning stuff). Not a nice smell for a non-smoker..

Perfect location next to highway and huge bakery across the street with good coffee and nice bread.
