We would stay again.

The location was perfect.

The floors looked really dirty and whilst it comfortable sleeps four people it doesn’t really seat four people in the living area but it’s small so it is difficult.

Poor sleep

Location

There was no blind in the bedroom on the sky lights so a very poor night sleep - contacted property but no response - picture is the bedroom at 5am!

Endgill cottage stay

Great little cottage in a fantastic location, clean comfortable has everything you need.

Seems a bit petty but no bin bags to replace the bins and put the used bedding in as stated in the hand book about stripping the beds. Plus the bath tap wouldn't run hot water.

Stayed many times but seems standards have slipped

Floors not cleaned and bath dirty with no hot water and minor things like no tea towels and only one toilet roll.

Disappointing

Location

Property smelt damp on arrival, there were no basics ie toilet rolls or cleaning products. Towels were damp and smelt (we bought our own to use) the area outside the back door was ch ice red on moss and dirt making the back do our unusable without trailing g do it in the cottage. The out door sitting area from the 1st floor was full of weeds and therefore unusable during our stay. I messaged the cottage on arrival with these issues and received no response. I am a regular traveller and expect higher standards than we received.

Endgill is a very lovely cottage in a great Ulverston location

charming 3 floor end cottage, good facilities, no log burner or equivalent but the fireplace lighted up well with the candles supplied, comfortable 2 bedrooms, easy accessibility to town centre and also Cumbrian Way.

no parking included (altho easily E-sorted at nearby CarParking once app downloaded); the roar of the stream outside was frequently disturbing to good sleep; the bathroom would benefit from a few more hooks and we found it cold (only had a heated towel rail) .

so many good things about this place, Area great,lots to do, friendly, neighbours.

Clean ,all fresh.We think we may have been first visitors, new white fluffy towels exellent kitchen facillities. New glasses and crockery. Comfy beds, great shower and bath. Netflix free

cold weather so difficult to keep this place warm. would be more comfortable and cost effective for owner if they had some heavy curtains on both doors to keep the heating in from the normally efficient gas central heating. A large rug in lounge floor would also provide heat and make it cosey.

Aurait pu être parfait

Joli cottage, calme, très bien situé à côté du Cumbria way et du centre ville , emplacement idéal choisi pour ces mêmes raisons.

Bien équipé mais malheureusement pas d'eau chaude ou de chauffage suite à une panne et le plombier qui était censé venir n'est jamais passé.
