Endgill Cottage

Lovely little cottage, the location was perfect and the cottage had all we needed. We had a lovely stay. The bed linen and bath towels were clean and fresh. The cottage itself was clean too. It was lovely and cool downstairs when it was hot outside. Parking in the Gill was fine and very handy, we paid a daily rate for our stay.

Almost everything was great and nothing affected our stay but some minor issues that could do with being resolved and have been raised separately. Dirty pans, slow draining shower, tea towels that have seen better days…

The location was perfect.

The floors looked really dirty and whilst it comfortable sleeps four people it doesn’t really seat four people in the living area but it’s small so it is difficult.

Great location for walking and the town. Well kitted out.

Car parking charges.

Good location as Ulverston has plenty to do. Good shower - bathroom ok. Garden area good and quirky with access from first floor giving valuable space - a good evening area in warm weather conditions.

Damp - clothes smelt by end of the week. Beds not big enough. No blinds in double bedroom ceiling widows so sleeping in daylight. Not enough cupboard space to unpack. During heatwave one slept in twin room but whilst might be ok for children beds not big enough for adults. Garden needed to be maintained. Cushions un-useable as not clean in plastic bench seat. Backdoor route, to be used as fire escape, needed clearing, sweeping, caring for. Pictures out of date and at a guess from about 4 years ago so now looking tired. Two seater in front of telly for 4 person accommodation doesn't work. We went as a couple so managed.
