Great apart from the bathroom!

Two large bedrooms with comfy beds. Plenty of storage space. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Nice dining and seating area. Good location to access local amenities. Had to pay for parking but not too expensive and very near to the apartment.

Bathroom was unacceptable, mould on shower head and shower screen. Looked like they had tried to clean the grouting and sealant around the bath but you could still see mould in it. No heating in bathroom so very cold. Flusher on toilet felt as if it was ready to break. Bathroom needed a complete overall, can only describe it as being bleak. Stairs to one of the bedrooms very steep, more like a ladder, may be difficult for some people to climb.

Location was great, very central, but no noise. Facilities The apartment great for a short stay. Communication from the host very good and made it easy to access.

Could have done with some accessories in the bathroom like hooks for towels and toothbrush holder, but that’s being picky.

Pleasant stay , near to all shops ,pubs and restaurants.

Didn’t like the wicker mats on the floors , a bit dangerous. No tele in the bedroom . Stairs were a bit of a challenge. The couch seemed a bit old and stained .

Really dissapointed with the apartment itself as we expected more with the price we paid. The location was great and the

The extractor fan did not work in the bathroom. Decorations pillows on beds were stained. Living room chair covered in stains. The whole apartment was covered in cobwebs. The bathroom was covered in mould on the shower head and the hose to the shower head and grout exceptionally tired. There was a set of death stairs up to the attic bedroom which are extremely narrow and dangerous. Walls were stained in the bathroom. The apartment was covered in dust on most surfaces. The whole apartment needs a really good clean. The floor is exceptionally noisy and i feel extremely sorry for anyone who was below us. The amount paid for the property was not reflected in the property. Management really needs to change the cleaning company. This was the Helsinki apartment.

Husbands 60th birthday trip to ulverston & cartmel races

Location was great. Apartment lovely.

Just disturbed sleep with doors keep opening with people going toilet in night . & the wooden floors . Got a phone call 2 hours before check in to say one of the apartments was double booked, but Diana did sort it quickly & located us another one. Just spoilt it a little bit because this meant 2 of our friends wernt in the same apartment block as the rest of us. But they weren't too far away. & diana kindly refunded 50% off the apartment that was double booked. But mistakes happen & we would gladly stay again

Not well equipped. Bought a bottle of wine to take back first evening, only to find no wine glasses or Prosecco glasses. Tumblers and plastic gin balloons only. First time we have stayed anywhere that doesn’t have wine glasses. Disappointing.

Clean, comfy, centrally located accommodation, what’s not to love.

We love the Nordic Suites. Great location, clean and comfortable, with parking at the rear of the property £6 for the day and free overnight. We travel with pets so are allocated a ground floor suite with a small outdoor yard area, which is great for the dogs. Diana, the host is on hand for anything you need. We will be back again on our next trip to Ulverston!

Pleasant

Host was lovely and flexible about arrival time, good communication. Entry is really easy with the door code, and the flat was clean and well presented. Really great location in the centre of Ulverston with shops and pubs right on the door-step. Also easy to park jsut around the corner (although you have to pay for public parking). Flat had all the basics for simple cooking and meal prep. Spacious living area and big, comfortable bed. Good value for money.

A few little extra touches could have really helped, such as more hooks (particularly in the bathroom), and a towel rail or airer to hang wet clothes/swimming things after a day out. The seating in the lounge could have been more comfortable. When we first entered the flat, it smelt quite strongly of old smoke/vaping, which was unpleasant, and we had to buy some air fresheners to cover this. The bathroom is quite basic; the shower head did not stay upright, and the water goes around the shower screen making the floor quite damp. The flat was also not very soundproof, and we heard quite a bit of noise from the upstairs flat. None of these things really affected our stay that much, but are little things that for some could be easily improved.
