Location, prompt response to our concern

Wrong code to open the lock box to enter the apartment and place had not been cleaned. Also Wi-Fi did not work.

Location was great. Property was a lot bigger than expected. It’s spread over 3 floors which the kids loved. 2 good sized bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Easy to locate using directions from owner. Good location right in town center. Close to nice pubs and restaurants.

Minor issue but the signal on the main TV was in and out but not bad overall, and although was a smart TV couldn’t use YouTube or Netflix on it as was a bit older so apps unavailable. These were however extremely minor issues.

Fantastic little place in a great location

Really liked the place and would definitely recommend to anyone. It was also only a 2 minute walk from Ulverston town centre which was handy.

The bed was a bit small (small double). It was fine for us because we're only small but larger couples would struggle. It also needs a blackout blind in the same room (left bedroom).

Great apartment in a central area, perfect for a family trip away

Good central location, kitchen well stocked, clean and homely.

A bit tricky to find but once I found where the directions were, the directions were spot on (I was looking through my emails!)

Exceptional

The location was perfect, very close to the centre but lovely and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen, excellent shower. Really very nice.

Quite a few spiders knocking about (I hate spiders) the bed linen could have been ironed....very crinkled. There wasn't enough mirrors and sockets for hairdryer etc. The window blinds need attention.

Central location was just the ticket for us, pubs a plenty on our doorstep!

clean and cosy and tight in the centre of Ulverston the location was just superb for us, 2 mins to our favourite pubs and restaurants and plenty of shops.

no garden or outside space for the dog but we knew that when we booked. just nipped him out round the block each morning to do his business. long walks nearby tired him out, and us!

At first one of the in house fire alarms kept beeping but it eventually stopped. Assumed as it was WiFi linked it had become unlinked but sorted itself.

Fun Dickensian weekend stay in a lovely house in a great location.

Lovely property in a great location.

The house hadn’t had the heating on for some time. Everything inside was extremely cold down to the furnicture and bedding and towels. When we tried to put the heating on it didn’t work , we called the owner for advise by he didn’t know what was wrong. We eventually worked it out that the boiler needed topping up with water and we had to borrow a radiator key from a neighbour as most of the radiators needed bleeding . This was all very stressful for the first few hours of our stay and shouldn’t have had to be done by us. The house is in need of some maintenance lights buzzing in the lounge, light fitting missing in the bathroom and faulty tap in the bathroom and other things which could all be sorted if it was inspected I feel.

The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean. It was more spacious than I expected!

One of the living room lights and a bedside lamp weren’t working and one of the bedroom blinds had a broken cord. Also it wasn’t clear where we were supposed to park.

no freezer compartment in the fridge, lacked information regarding where to empty bin, recycling etc. Oven was dirty on arrival and a couple of lightbulbs needed replacing. Food was left in the fridge from previous guests.

Really lovely apartment in a great central location

Lovely apartment in a great location. Good size rooms and well presented.

The heating was off when we arrived and it was freezing so turned up high then got too hot. Would be better to keep heating on low continuously. Also not enough loo roll had to buy our own which was annoying. Had to pay £18 for a 3 day parking pass but it is very close.

Lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay again.

The location, couldn't have been better, very central to the shops and eating places, also the fact that we could park right outside was fantastic. It was easy to get the key once we got the correct key code, the wrong code was put on the booking site, but I phoned the owner who gave me the correct one.

We arrived on probably the coldest day of the year and it was freezing inside, it would have been nice to come in to a nice warm property, saying that, it soon warmed up. This was only a small thing and I'm not really complaining, it was freezing though, and the windows were open!

A few things needed attention. One of the bed side lamps in the smaller bedroom wasnt working. Toilet seat downstairs was loose. The oven was dirty and so were some of the pots and pans.
