The place isn't looked after and it's dirty. The photos are outdated and drains clog, pool is dirty and the bamboo is old and falling apart.

the personal is very gentle and you have all time cold water, good wifi and fridge. its located in the center of ubud and they offer very cheap exursions to complete your trip. we would like to give an exeptional thank you to Douglas for his kindness, for being our guide and taking the time to explain his culture to us, and making this trip memorable.

The room was lovely. Cool vide. Hammock in the balcony was great. On such a busy road it was quiet from street noise. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Balcony doors no lock. No room safe. No sunbeds round pool (which for the size we could understand)

Not staying again!

Location

We first stayed in 2023, then last week in june 2025. Last years experience has been good thought to repeat again. This time the conditions of the rooms & pool has declined. It looks used and worn out. We booked for 2 nights. Also we are the first guest to check in, we asked for the first room but the staff said “cannot choose room, as rooms are given based on nights we stayed”. We booked for 2 nights and she give the last room on the end of pool. We didn’t try the pool cz it’s looks dirty. Also the breakfast didn’t taste too nice and not sure where they cooked the meals from.

Amazing stay!

Douglas was amazing!! He was very communicative via WhatsApp day of arrival to day of departure. They messaged on WhatsApp when breakfast was ready, about our set up tours and transfers, etc. We did a day tour through the hotel and transfer and round trip boat ticket to gili t through hotel and it worked out well. Our driver for tour and transfer was Amet, Douglas friend and he and his wife were great! Amazing location as well right near monkey forest, shops, restaurants all walking distance. Breakfast was soo good as well.

Only thing I would say is our AC wasn’t working that well, but we didn’t tell staff so they may have been able to fix it.

A perfect place to enjoy your vacation.

Actually, I loved everything there and decided to choose this place right after seeing it on the app. Very nicely designed, comfortable bed, clean bedsheet, clean pillows, bedside light, cute bathtub, very spacious room, cute balcony, cool net to chillax in the room, nice common area, quiet while being so close to everything you need in a short distance by foot. The staff was very nice and helpful.

It would be perfect if the breakfast hade some meat. Be careful with nailheads on the floor.

Peaceful stay despite centralized location

The staff were all very welcoming and courteous. The room was perfect size and quite comfortable. The rainfall showerhead was amazing with great water pressure, responsive temperatures, and easy to navigate controls. The net hammock was comfortable and one of the most notable unique features of the rooms. The location is central to many shops, restaurants, and activities. Despite this, because the property is tucked away from the main road, the property is quiet and peaceful. Great value for the price.

The rooms vary slightly with their balcony orientation, and you don't really know which one you are getting until you arrive. Each level is unique and has its perks, but it might be nice to know ahead of time if a specific space is of importance to you. I didn't have either the outdoor hammock or the arched balcony seating that I saw on this website where I stayed on the top floor rooms, but the view of the orchid trees and the uniquely designed property was still beautiful.

Really good location, beautiful place, cheap & good breakfast.

The staff was super friendly and helpful!!! The place was very nice. You could choose from 6 different options for breakfast. The options were mostly Indonesian and one was pancake with fruit and one was egg. We choose the pancake with fruit and it was suuuuuper tasty! Definitely choose the pancake if you like a sweet breakfast.

We reported one issue that we are not going to tell here - why? Because the staff was really grateful that we reported the issue and it seemed like they wanted to do everything to ensure that it will be changed :) So really goooood staff!!!

A good pleasant stay in a central location

Good location - very central. The staff were very attentive and responded to all queries. Towels and bedding were changed daily with good room facilities.

The property could do with a good deep clean. A little dusty with a dead gecko found in the curtains and a diffuser that was empty with dusty reeds. The stairs were squeky with the steps in an odd formation making it potentially dangerous. The room looks dated and in need of an uplift. On arrival I was informed that the shower needed replacing which was fixed. The bulb was changed in the night lamp. I am unable to comment on the pool however, as I never used it. Overall, a nice stay, but I would probably opt to stay elsewhere if in the Ubud area.

Really nice!

I love it! The place is really beautiful and there the stuff is amazing. I was in contact mostly with Dina and she is superlovely! +The pool is clean and the best is the hottub! Which was really hot and I loved it! +It was quite there (I slept like a baby) and the location is top in the center with everything in walking distance. +Free parking for your motorbike in the city center is really nice! +Nice breakfast in the price and you can even borrow bike from them and go for a trip! - Only one thing was the internet. It worked perfectly for many hours and since I am digital nomad I need this. Then there was some challenge with the speed of internet in the morning and noon but I believe they will fix it before you will come there :))).

I liked our stay. A short walk to monkey forest and downtown Ubud shopping district.

Hammocks outside the room were cool. Beds were comfy. Bonus Netflix for free. Good location. Fridge facilities. Cute room. Friendly staff. Koi fish to play with just through the walkway and a gamers club for video gaming fanatics. Scooter hire across the road and restaurants nearby.

Pool looked dirty. A little overpriced. Staircase to bed dangerous. Seats outside the room very hard and uncomfortable without a cushion. Mosquitoes eat you alive. Snake skin tangled in the hammock outside. Power went out for a while.

Wonderful Ubud stay!

Wonderful place to stay while in Ubud. The room is very modern and spacious, aircon is nice and cool, and the balcony hammock is incredible for photos + relaxing in. Very cool how you can change the lighting from yellow to white or both too. Great location with nice cafes and restaurants in a walkable distance. Generally quiet as it's on the main street but tucked behind some buildings - some live music from nearby bars but the music was enjoyable and you can keep the door closed if it bothers you. Daily housekeeping for fresh towels is also great!

The bath had an unattractive green and beige discolouration in middle of the stone finish. It's cleaned but unfortunately offputting to look at. The loft stairs are quite small and slippery so you really need to be careful.

Well designed hotel in a central location

Nice central location in Ubud. The aesthetics of the place was high. The toilet was nice, loft was well equipped. Very photogenic place.

A sign could have been placed for directions leading into the hotel because the hotel is at the backyard of some buildings. Pool leaves can be cleaned more often.

Lovely

The staff are friendly. It is a quiet and lovely place. They have hot and cold water dispenser at the common area by the pool. Amenities inside the room include refrigirator, hair drier, cloth iron, heater. Bathroom with bathtub, clean towels, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush. Staff cleans room everyday. The place is very relaxing and, if youre a fan of posting pictures online, it is instagrammable. Great location, very accessible.

A bit moist inside the room with a little bit of smell in the sofa and mattress. But it's nothing compared to all the pros of this lovely place. Suksema banget 🙏

Beautiful apartments, perfect location with around a lot of good restaurants, helpful staff. Really cool that they have work space, Netflix and YouTube on TV.

Staff could improve their professionalism, e.g. they can’t provide clear information about breakfast selection, be sure when they can to come to clean the room and etc. Also staff could pay attention if air conditioner is working properly and other facilities in room. Air conditioner was quite loud. Only Indonesian selection breakfast was delicious.

Very good

The breakfast was some of the best food I had during my 3 week stay in Bali (I spent 4 nights at Clan Living). Jeni was a phenomenal point of contact; very friendly, responsive to whatsapp messages and accomodating. The property itself is stunning with great wifi and privacy.

The bathroom smelled really badlly like damp/stagnant water - the smell came from the drain and unfortunately there wasn't a window in the bathroom. When I let staff know they immediately came and did what they could (using bathroom fragrance). There was low noise for my entire stay except for the Wednesday night where a nearby venue had a live band which could be heard clearly in my room until late.
