Tegal Sari Accommodation Ubud

I had a beautiful private room, the facility was well set up and staff were amazing.

Location location location!!! It was brilliant! Right next to the Monkey forrest and all other good restaurants, cafes, pharmacy and supermarket. Very convenient. So it means, it's near to the busy area, yet you wound't hear any noise from your accommodation. Brilliant! Staff are exceptionally polite and kind. I needed some help for nothing to do with accommodation. I asked one of the receptionists and they helped me out kindly. I really appreciate that. Had breakfast in the room, we requested to be served by certain time, and it was ready on time! Hot food was hot! Quality of food was ok, not something out of the moon, but I enjoyed scrambled eggs option. Their welcome drink (?Iced lime tea) was so refreshing!!! I ordered again and again haha Overall the accommodation is old yet I could see it's well maintained. There are some stairs in the room. Reflective and glow in the dark tape was applied to stairs so I could use the stairs safely in the dark. Bedding was great, had the most comfortable sleep ever. It can be quite humid in the room, yet they have dehumidifier so it was great throughout the stay. Accommodation is value for the money. I'd stay here again for next Ubud visit.

I'd get my own shampoo, conditioner and body wash and stuff. The quality was not the best I'd use.

We loved everything! The staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. Our room was squeaky clean, and we had everything we needed. The restaurant service and food were great. We booked three day tours and really enjoyed them. Our driver, Sureka, was extremely knowledgeable and a safe driver. The property has beautiful gardens, and it feels like you are not in the city. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to Bali. We highly recommend Tegal Sari Accommodation!

Friendly staff, nice beds, bath was nice and big, lush green grounds, water refill. The staff assisted us well in shortening our stay. Cleaning was good. Also we were expecting more monkeys, but only saw 2 in 5 days.

Main pool was closed for the first days due to maintenance. Also the pools were less attractive than the pictures. That was disappointing. Furthermore we did not like hearing music in the room from the bar next door multiple nights. You can order breakfast in the room, but it was cold 3 out of 5 days and 1 day it was very late due to miscommunication. The couch is not really a couch, but just wooden boxes with pillows on top. It's not comfortable, since the pillows keep sliding off. Also didn't like the notes in the room mentioning fines if we would leave stains or leave smoke smell in the room (we're not smokers by the way) but it's just not classy. This is not a hostel right.
