Nara Kasugaokuyama Tsukihitei

We stayed in the room isolated from main building and it was very nice setting like a small house with newly renovated. They could bring our meals to our room and they wearing Kimono to prepare everything for us and it was amazing. The meals were delicious and they explained every little food they prepared. It has been a long time since I stayed in ryokan with meals and it was wonderful and my daughter was delighted. We even wore Yukata after bath which was in our room. Rooms were huge and very clean.

There was a bit of problems with ants in the corner of our bedroom, but as soon as I called and 2 employee came right away and cleaned very good and it had no more problems. They even offered us for another room, but we chose this room and we did not want to change at all. Thank you to their staffs for taking good care of the issues.

A stunning experience and probably our favourite spot in Japan. We loved the magical location deep in the forest. This felt like an authentic ryokan stay, from the bamboo blinds to the grass and moss-covered roof, but with a liberal splash of elegant indulgence. Dinner and breakfast were pure performance art: intricate dishes elegantly presented by waitresses dressed in traditional kimono.

Nothing

A once in a lifetime experience. Where we felt pampered and cared for from the minute we arrived. No request was a problem. Massage in the room was a treat. But the real highlight was the Michelin star food served in our rooms. We even had the dear down to our room. An absolute delight.

There is nothing we did not like.

The location was peaceful and serene. Really good distance from main temples so walking was beautiful and easy.
