Masseria Tolla

Giuseppe and Manuela are super friendly and great hosts, despite the language barrier. This really lifted the stay. Location is a very short drive from town, but calm, which is practical if you don’t want to stay somewhere remote.

It’s worth keeping in mind this is not a working Masseria, and the grounds are not very big. The mattresses are quite uncomfortable, beds just have a thin sheet (but thankfully blankets are available on request), and neither WiFi nor data works in the rooms - so a few small improvements could make the stay much nicer. Breakfast could do with more quantity and variety, it felt quite limited (cold breakfast with one type of bread, one fruit, biscuits, cold cuts, eggs after requesting for the second day but weren’t enough for everyone), even though the coffees were fresh and kept coming.
