Palazzo San Giuseppe

This newly refurbished Palazzo was sublime in every way - the room was so elegant, with beautiful terrazzo floors and marble bathroom, and the staff so helpful. The owner Fabio even came to rescue me from the narrow streets of Ostuni on his scooter and led me to the car park.

Although it was the most beautiful car park I’ve ever seen, make sure you remember how to find it as it’s a short walk from the hotel, and you have to do a 3 point turn to exit as the entrance is rather narrow and awkward

Die Unterkunft ist neu auf dem Markt, sehr modern und sehr zentral gelegen und schwer zu finden. Mann muss von einem Parkplatz zu Fuss ein paar Minuten ins Zentrum gehen. Insgesamt fanden wir das Angebot zu teuer für das was geboten wurde. Das Zimmer war relativ klein und für unseren Geschmack etwas zu modern und exotisch. Alles ist verglast und man sieht seinen Partner nackt in der Dusche, was noch ok ist, aber auch das WC ist voll einzusehen vom Zimmer, was nicht sein muss. Es hat nur Glasabtrennungen. Es fehlen Handtuchhaken und es wirkt neu aber etwas seelenlos, da keinerlei Dekoration oder Liebe zum Detail....was vielleicht ja noch kommt. Das positive Highlight war ein sehr feines, liebevolles Frühstück, zubereitet von einer lokalen, sehr netten italienischen Dame aus Ostuni.
