We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a day trip to nearby Oban, which should not be missed, particularly for the seafood and Oban Distillery tour. Thank you Matthew for the opportunity to stay; we will long remember it.

What a lovely room! We stayed in the Hill room with a garden view.
The home was beautifully appointed.
We enjoyed a great night sleep, and then breakfast in the dining room.
A walk around the property was the perfect ending.
Sorry we didn't get the chance to dine here, but Matthew had great
recommendations for us.

Small cosy cabin that literally has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really felt like a camping trip which we absolutely loved.
