    The Premier Suite was disappointing for several reasons. The flooring should be carpeted or finished with wood instead of plain cement, as this would create a more comfortable and premium feel. The air conditioning was not cooling effectively and appears to require servicing. Another major inconvenience is the absence of a lift. Guests have to use the stairs to reach the upper floors, which can be quite difficult when carrying large or heavy luggage. Overall, while the room has potential, these issues significantly affected the comfort and overall guest experience.

    A nice hotel with a good vibe, the pool is nice and usable and gives an alright overview of the city. In regards to location it puts one arguably in the best spot, close to nice cafes and if one wnats to go out it also has a good location to some bars

    The 38PC hotel is located in Pekan China, a rustic, old chinese area of Alor Setar thats experiencing rejuvination. Its near enough to the main sites in Alor Setar. the hotel is beautifully designed, preserving the old shophouse look, while tactfully using Industrial design elements to give a very retro yet homey atmosphere. The staff are also very helpful and kind. Facilities wise, there isnt much. Theres a small rooftop pool but its closed after 8, even though the night time atmosphere is far better. There are also basic coffee and tea facilities at the reception. The room comes with a rain shower, towels, a hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel.
