I Folletti, rent our e bike to visit all Umbria and enjoy our fantastic pool

We had a wonderful time! WE were there for a week. The location is excellent, the apartment is perfectly appointed and private, and the entire experience was great. The owner and manager went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We had a wonderful and fun cooking class and were given excellent restaurant and tour recommendations. We would have loved to stay longer.

Excellent facilities, our accommodation was very clean, comfortable and very well decorated and laid out. We would highly recommend and will stay here on our next visit to Umbria.

I Folletti is perfect for 2 people. It has all the facilities we needed for a two week stay. The location is absolutely beautiful - very peaceful with lovely grounds. There was plenty to do and see within easy reach, but it was also a pleasure to spend lazy days without going anywhere. Ginevra is an excellent host, and I recommend the cooking lessons she offers.

Although not clear from the Vrbo details on line, this is one of four properties within a relatively small area, managed by a staff who are on site during the day. It felt mostly private although staff watering plants and sweeping up leaves were always around in the morning and tended to do their work (sometimes a bit noisily) at 7-8 am. Things we liked: Location was very good for travelling around. Accommodation was a small cottage but nicely appointed with a gorgeous outside patio area which is mostly private. One of the owners, Ginevra, runs the restaurant that opened on Friday and Saturday. She is genuinely a great host, very friendly and we recommend the dinner experience, due to Ginevra and the nice location. Ginevra also had prepared a very good guide left in the property with advice on places to visit and restaurants to go to and information on local wines. She also brought us vegetables and fruit from her farm. We liked the shared swimming pool which is very large. Things we didn't like: We were caught by surprise when we were checking in. Despite our careful selection of a property which offered WiFi, laundry and air conditioning, we were told on arrival that we needed to pay an additional 100 euros as the air conditioning had just been fitted. We said that the property details included air conditioning and therefore we did not feel additional charges were reasonable which was accepted. We later observed that the air conditioning system did not appear new. We were then told that laundry facilities didn't exist on the entire site and were told that we needed to go into town (next to the supermarket) in order to wash our clothes. This was apparently due to Coved restrictions but property details on Vrbo had not been updated. The WiFi was one of the worst we have experienced despite the property details saying that the WiFI would be excellent ("a very fast WiFi connection"). The WiFi was working for only a few hours over the whole of the seven days. Despite asking for it to be fixed, we were offered the use of the office which of course isn't suitable for family purposes. Trip planning, use of google maps and family contacts were very difficult. The response to our requests to fix the internet was rather poor and appeared to rely on sitting it out. There were some other minor annoyances such as the two sun beds being covered in cat hair for most of the week until we asked the cleaning staff to deal with it.
