This hotel is small with a friendly homey feel to it. The single room was small but comfortable with fold down table wardrobe and large bathroom. There were no drawers to put small items away in.
The breakfast was adequate with good choice of food but being continental it was heavy on the carbohydrates bread, cereal, cakes etc as well as cheese, cold meats and eggs. Could have done with some salad items and more fruit.
This hotel is some way from the city centre, about a 20 minute walk . Useful for car drivers and contractors.

The hotel is a little aged but quant enough. The room we had was small but the bed was rock hard and the wheels on the base kept meaning the bed would move. My wife and I both woke up in agony and had very little sleep. Some advice to take on board, place a small bottle of milk in the room rather than having to make a million trips to reception to take the small caps of milk!
The restaurant (independent to the hotel) is absolutely beautiful. In my opinion, £8 for their continental breakfast is definitely not worth it either.
