Fantastic bathroom, plenty of space but poor sleep and comfort.

Plenty of space and an exceptional bathroom. A really nice touch was the artisanal coffee setup waiting in the room on arrival (coffee pouch and a glass drip brewer with paper filters), which made for a great coffee the next morning. The room and facilities were properly cleaned throughout and it was clear care had been taken with presentation, and the atmosphere was surprisingly cosy considering the location. Internal doors were all solid and sturdy, helping isolate room-to-room noise. The bed was reasonably comfortable, although it was two singles pushed together so the middle wasn’t as comfortable.

For the price (£121.92 for one night, even at a reduced rate), the overall experience didn’t feel in line with what we expected, mainly due to comfort and sleep disruption. The front door didn’t seal properly. It did lock, but the latch had noticeable movement in the frame and there was around a half-inch gap, which made it difficult to keep the room warm and amplified noise from traffic and passers-by. The fridge was extremely loud and didn’t keep food cold enough overnight even at max, so our perishables had gone off by morning. The church bells nearby chimed hourly and, with older single-pane windows in the bedroom and bathroom (with a metal stay/rod), the noise carried clearly, including through the window above the bed. There was also significant noise at the rear of the bedroom overnight, increasing from around 5am with deliveries and handling. While the bathroom was beautifully done, the basics affecting sleep and comfort (sealing, noise, temperature) didn’t feel in line with the price.

A hidden gem!!

Location was great, so clean and modern and loved how nice everything was set out. The radio was on when we arrived in the room which gave it a warm welcoming feeling. High end products were a nice touch and the coffee too! Super comfy massive bed.

Perfect Old Town stay back home

First class location in the heart of the Old Town. Easy access via keycode.Parking just across the road next to King Billy above the old Argos, Tesco express there too and Pascos Italian for a quick takeaway if needed. Winner all the way 👍

After my fifth residency at HIDEOUT, the empirical data is undeniable: this establishment is a statistical anomaly. While most hotels succumb to the laws of entropy, HIDEOUT remains a bastion of extraordinary decor and industrial-chic elegance that makes me feel far more sophisticated than I actually am. Key Findings: • Economic Disruption: The value for money is so high it’s borderline criminal. I consistently feel I should be paying more; staying here feels like a benevolent heist in my favor. • Service Excellence: The staff operate on the philosophy that nothing is ever too much. Their hospitality is proactive, professional, and frankly, puts my own productivity to shame. • Consistency: Five stays, zero failures. In the specialized field of "Where to Stay in Hull," HIDEOUT is the only variable that matters. Final Verdict: Do not miss this. It is my definitive, permanent choice for every visit. If you stay anywhere else, you are simply choosing an inferior reality.

Incredible

It was very clean soon as we got it and comfortable, easy to settle in and enjoy. I loved the bathroom and the facilities in there the most. Bed was really comfy and kitchen was unbelievable.

Only thing I didn’t like was the windows were very hollow and could hear the wind and people shouting loudly from the pub down the street

Hidden Treasure in Hull

The entry details and system worked well. Apartment was a great size, very clean, modern and homely. I didn't drive so cant comment on parking, but is was quite, very comfortable and close to some great restaurants and shops to pick up a few basics.

I only had a little trouble with one of the TV's but got that sorted after a few mins. In general there was nothing I didn't like and will book again.

I would give it 11/10 if possible. Everything was clean and comfortable and an ideal location if you are sightseeing. The staff are lovely and hospitable, they really manage to make the place feel homely. This was probably one of the best places we have stayed in and we will definitely be back!

If I have to nitpick, the only thing we had any issue with was that it got quite warm. It is understandable considering the layout of the rooms and windows. However, it was still manageable and we would still come back regardless.

Great stay in the old town

Great location for a short break in Hull's old town. I was worried that it might be a noisy night, but we were completely undisturbed. The pre-stay information was excellent and the apartment had everything we needed.

There were a couple of repairs that needed doing - the under-sink cupboard door hinge had come off and the light fittings were slightly hanging off.

Immaculate.. wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

What a place!! Clean, spacious, warm, beds were heavenly! Easy to get to, communication was great. The owners even heated the apartment and put an extra heater in my mums rooms before we got there as she wasn’t well 🥹 Location spot on. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Perfect start to wedding weekend celebrations

Fabulous apartment in Hull Old Town

The apartment was very clean, warm and comfortable. It is in a fabulous location in the Old Town on a cobbled street across from the Minster. The staff were fantastic, very kind and helpful especially organising parking and for us to stay an extra night at short notice. They are very quick responding to emails.
