I regularly stay at this hotel and it fits my needs for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable and not far from where I need to be.

Great location . Very clean room comfy bed and good shower.
Rooms a bit tired and dated , but didn’t bother me .
Not a place for a romantic weekend with your wife probably !but perfect for somewhere to just get your head down . Self check in works perfectly .
Great pub downstairs too, what’s not to like !!
There is road noise from outside, room actually feels like it shakes sometimes !

Large room balcony was a bonus
Very dirty - wallpaper hanging off, damp patches, most of the radiators didn’t work in the room. The bed shakes when larger traffic comes past like buses. The windows being single glazed let air in and I know it’s probably a listed building but secondary glazing can be installed from inside. Could be a fabulous room just needs a total revamp. (The shower room has been upgraded but there is no water pressure what so ever) I stayed the previous night in the malmaison in Leeds for exactly the same price and there is just NO comparison. We stayed in Room 1 so I can’t comment on what the other rooms are possibly like and if these have been updated

• The room was beautiful, full of character, and very well decorated.
• The four-poster bed and roll-top bath were lovely features and made the room feel special.
• Despite being above the pub, there was no noise disturbance from it at all.
• There was noticeable dust in the room, particularly on top of the four-poster bed.
• The room was cold and a couple of the radiators did not seem to be working properly.
• A shelf next to the roll-top bath would have been very helpful, as there was nowhere to place toiletries while using it.
• Noise from the very busy main road outside was significant, especially in the mornings and evenings. Large vehicles caused the room to shake when passing.
• Unfortunately, there were also roadworks and building works taking place during our stay, starting at around 8am.
• The car park is quite far from the hotel, and the steep stairs to access the rooms were difficult, particularly as one of us has limited mobility.

Room was nice and big and location was great for getting around.
I'm aware it's probably a listed building so not much can be done regarding the windows but it was incredibly noisy at night time. Some provided ear plugs might be a nice little idea.

Location
Slightly cold room, despite the heating being on, wish I had brought a heater. I think the heating may only have been turned on just prior to us arriving as the room overall felt warmer we hen we returned after the night out 5 hours later

It was in a brilliant location for the Museum Quarter and above a good real ale pub. The room was spacious and even had a bath in the room. Four poster bed and a accessible balcony but as December didnt linger long. Tea & coffee making facilities.
Radiators were a bit sporadic & two didnt work at all but only there two nights so coped. Cups and saucers are so irritating I wish they'd use mugs. There is a socket inside the door at eyelevel with the bed which flashes a bright blue wifi light. We had to block it with a sock & water bottle as really annoying. A lack of plugs near a mirror for hair drying. Free car parking is in a NCP Car park in the street behind in reserved spaces which had no signage for the pub which was disconcerting that we might not be in the right place

Communication from the hotel was very good with clear check-in instructions that were very easy to follow. You didn't see any members of staff throughout the stay. I had expected the hotel to be quite noisy but actually once you're up on the top floor I hardly heard anything of the other guests. Parking was nearby and allowed easy time in the city.
As any inner-city property, there was quite a lot of car noise which made it difficult for someone like me to get a good night's sleep. Steps/access are typical of old buildings. It was good that the hotel left out tea and coffee however one of the water bottles they put out was half used. This is an oversight rather than anything serious. The pub downstairs was very busy due to Christmas. Not a place for a quiet meal as I had intended but a sign of how popular it is with locals.

Second time here and this was even better - there was a communal iron and ironing board and I had a bigger room. There’s one or two (depending on which room you’re in) stairs if that’s an issue. Comfy room, great value and good shower. It adjoins the White Hart pub but you are completely independent. For research purposes I went into the White Hart to give a fair review. And it’s great. Friendly and a good dartboard (I didn’t have anyone to play with sadly) and pool table. You can order “Cowboy Food” from tbe restaurant next door which has a hatch that they bring to you table. Yee hah!

Really comfortable bed and pillows, and the room was nice and warm even though it was freezing cold outside. Bathroom came with shower gel and shampoo, plus plenty of towels. Space to hang up some clothes and a radiator. I stayed on a Tuesday night, and it was quiet outside. The message with information to check in was friendly and had everything I needed.

Good location, with free parking or very cheap parking. At £2.75 for 24hrs, a great pub too.
The stairs to the top floor are very steep with a fire door on the top step. Nothing that could be done. It's an old building but for someone with vertigo it's very hard to walk up and down.

The building was beautiful, and in a great location for exploring the old town. Room had everything that you needed, and the bed was comfortable. Self-check in/check out so felt independent and that I can run things on my own time.
Nothing comes to mind in particular, there were a couple of marks on the walls in the bathroom but nothing that would ruin a trip. While I see the benefit of having the twin mattresses that can zip up to a double, it did leave a noticeable dent in the middle that I sometimes felt a bit uncomfortable or that I may fall through but after a few hours I got used to the feeling and wasn’t bothered by it.

Great parking via NCP round the corner. 6 spaces available or even if full, less than £3 for 24hrs!
Location is good. Only 5-10 minute walk into the centre of the town
Room was clean, tidy and had towels and shampoo etc too, as well as hangers and place to store clothes. There was also an ironing board outside the rooms to share if needed. Shower was really hot with good pressure.
Brilliant host who was extremely helpful and responsive.
Really good price and well worth it
Noisy window
2nd floor not ideal
Small shower (if tall)
Can live with all the above, but the kettle was full of limescale so was unusable. Probably worth replacing but only one night so didn't flag to host who no doubt would've dealt with it as responsive as he had been.

Great location next to Hull old town. Rooms are above the pub. with separate hotel entrance. Free parking available nearby. Room was clean and comfortable, decent bed and good pillows. Check in is self-service, instructions were provided and good communication.
Great Mexican food in the pub, order by qr code to your table and some nice ales. Only met bar staff who were friendly and it's a nice traditional pub, with darts and pool.
Nothing really! The pub was pretty noisy but hey it's a Saturday night! It didn't go on too late, but worth bearing in mind if you like an early night. Pub seemed to close pretty early on Sunday night.

The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable
The noise the cleaners made first thing in the morning. Slamming doors.
The first morning the cleaner downstairs in the pub was in at 4am hoovering and second morning the cleaners for the hotel were slamming doors at 7am

lovely comfy bed, powerful shower. nice decor , only stayed one night so plenty of hanging space. fab having the free carpark just a minutes walk away, fantastic location a stone throw from the old town
great communication with the owner
my dad found the stairs very steep to the second floor so maybe not ideal for the elderly, fine for me.

Hotel location
Size of the bathroom was not the same as it was advertised on Booking.com, a big security concern as the key always remains in the door lock outside. You can't take it out of the door. I had to remain in fear as my valuables were there, somebody could easily get in while I was out for a diner at night and while I was sleeping in the night time. No wifi again as it was advertised on the web.

Room was great bright airy clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The bar downstairs was very well stocked and the staff were very friendly.the area was lovely not in the hustle and bustle of the center but only a short walk to the middle of it all. Will definitely use it again..

Had a great stay at The White Hart! The pub itself is fantastic, with a great selection of beers and seriously good food. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The location is spot-on, right opposite Hull Old Town High Street and just a short walk to the Marina, which made exploring super easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and great value for money. Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hull. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Good communication and easy to find. Car parking fabulous just around the corner. Room spotless but a little smaller than expected.. but ok as a solo traveller.
Room ok for one but had i been with my wife a double bed against a wall and very little space would have been hard work.

Great location. Good communication and simple check in and check out process.
Only thing and only my personal preference I was uncomfortable with the en-suite second door (although bolted shut) that lead to the corridor.
