Clean , quiet with amazing location and lovely staff members

We recently stayed at CitizenM and overall had an ok experience. The hotel has a modern feel, and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were just a few small things that we felt could be improved. We were a little surprised that there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, as this is something we’ve come to expect as a basic amenity in most hotels. Additionally, the bathroom door in our room didn’t close properly and remained slightly ajar, which wasn’t ideal for privacy. The room, although we did know would be small, really was very small. The sink is located outside the bathroom which took a bit of getting used to. There was no way to turn off the heating/air con which was annoying as i didn’t want it on at all at night. On check-out, there was initially some confusion around a late check-out charge, although the staff member handling it was very kind and resolved it for us, which we appreciated. Overall, an ok stay with great staff, but a few minor details that, if addressed, would make the experience a lot better.
