Executive Hotel Le Soleil New York

The hotel is a ten minute walk from Penn Station. The double room has a large bathroom but the room was otherwise quite small.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff is welcoming, helpful, and efficient. Very quiet, attractive, room. Very clean. Great location.

Hotel is in a good location right near a subway entrance. It was also near empire state building and koreatown. The room was pretty small but not a big issue since it was really only a place to sleep at night. The shower pressure was also very low. I did have a great view of the skyline from my window. Overall it was a great hotel for my needs.

Our stay at Executive Le Soleil was extremely disappointing, especially given the expectations set by the description and the price point. The room was marketed as a “suite,” but the design and layout felt poorly conceived. instead of feeling spacious and elevated, it felt unusually cramped and claustrophobic. The large, awkward wall placement and the sofa positioned behind it created a significant amount of unusable space, making the room feel smaller rather than more luxurious. The overall experience also lacked attention to basic hospitality details. We had to repeatedly call to request amenities that should have been proactively provided. Even simple touches, such as having carpet slippers available, were missing. These details matter in a hotel that positions itself as a premium experience. Room felt hotter despite adjusting temperature, room temperature didnt budge one bit so maybe faulty system The Empire State Building view was another major disappointment. What was presented as a highlight turned out to be a very poor viewing experience, the window perspective was awkward, and the “view” did not justify the significant additional cost. In hindsight, an Empire Queen room would likely have been a much better value if the view is the primary selling point, because the upgraded room category did not translate into a meaningful experience. Infact the major part of view was adjacent building walls only till you try hard to look up to find empire state The only truly positive aspect was the flexibility of the late checkout until 1 PM, which was appreciated. However, a generous checkout time cannot compensate for a room design that feels inefficient, an underwhelming view, and a lack of thoughtful service details. For the price paid, the overall value simply did not meet expectations. Wont come here again now for sure.
