The hotel was about as expected for the price. My room smelled musty so I asked for another room and it also had a musty smell. Other than that the location and staff were great.

The location of Aka Nomad is fantastic, and overall the customer service was good. However, I had one significant issue during my stay.
A fuse blew because I used the hairdryer and kettle at the same time. The night staff (around 2am) were very accommodating and moved me to a different room, though it was smaller — and the same thing happened again there.
The next morning, before the 11am checkout time, I asked reception to move me back to my original (bigger) room. The receptionist blamed me for the fuse issue, even though there was no signage or notice anywhere warning guests not to use both appliances together. She also refused to move me back, saying the room had already been assigned to someone else, even though check-in time is 3pm. There was some back-and-forth, including being told my room type was sold out. After I insisted, staff said they'd check with the manager, who then agreed to move me back — but warned the room hadn't been cleaned yet. I agreed to store my luggage at the concierge in the meantime and pick up my key once the room was ready. Not once during this whole process did anyone apologize — no apology was offered until checkout.
When I finally got into the room, though, it was only half-cleaned — bed was made, but glasses were dirty. More generally, over my 7-night stay, it didn't look like the cups or kettle cabinet were wiped down at any point.
Would recommend for the location, but if the electrical circuit can't handle two appliances at once, this should be clearly communicated to guests — and the front desk/housekeeping handling of issues could use improvement..

Location, service, and staffs were great. However the bed that we used made so much squeaky sound every time we move that was annoyed. I think AKA needs to upgrade or change to a new bed frame.

Bad minibar service they dont clean anything and take everything out never return. Small elevator and out of service.
