Great for a relaxing stay

Comfortable room with all amenities, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Underground parking with elevator. Unfortunately we visited in winter so could not enjoy the swimming pool nor the bier garden...

With a sauna and an outdoor pool - these were wonderful to get to. Good car parking.

A real getaway to be spoilt.

Wonderful food, the restaurant was first class. Prices are meeting the quality of the establishment. Underground free parking, we could leave the car there and take a tram into town or as we did, took a train into Switzerland to Zurich. On the evenings that were warm and dry we are outside in the garden area. Magnificent…… the food does taste better outside

No bananas for breakfast. The buffet had everything but this one item, Ha Ha.

Convenient by car to the autobahn. However, the location itself is in an uninteresting street outside of the Old Town.

Great inn to spend the night on your way up our down the A5 Autobahn.

This was our second stay here, and we will be happy to return for a third visit. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable, the swimming pool gorgeous and the location excellent. Free parking, unless you want to secure a spot (10 euros). We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked great

The evening before our departure, a client of the hotel's restaurant parked in our parking space. Instead of asking him to move his car the hotel staff moved us to another space which was too narrow and too low for our car. We couldn't even open the trunk in order to load our luggage.

Very nice stay

Extremly friendly and helpful staff. I was very tired after driving the entire day so I really appreciate their help. I travelled with a dog, so I was surprised to see the eating/ drinking bowls and a sleeping place for a dog prepared in the room. Very nice! Thank you!

The hotel from the outside is very nice. Private parking lot for a decent cost. The staff was quite OK and very friendly. The room was perfect, slightly on the small side but OK. Very quiet. Nice bathroom, for once with a real wooden door. Breakfast in a nice terrace and good. Restaurant with a dinner menu not really varied but good food, even though very expensive. But definitely comfortable. Breakfast OK, but expensive.

A bit on the expensive side for what it really is. The location is obviously not convenient for downtown Freiburg (you need a car, or you must catch a tramway not exactly close by), but this you know before going there.
