8.4 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
The cottage is separate from the main house, with a small kitchen (washer, dish washer, and everything we needed for a meal included), dining table, sofa, bedroom with plentiful drawers and bathroom. The bedroom opens out to a little patio overlooking picturesque fields and fells. The family and staff were welcoming and helpful with the little initial hiccups we had, which were very quickly settled. Sunday roast and breakfasts were okay. Ravenstone Manor is very dog friendly: four legged pals are welcomed in the dining room; there is a dog bath outside, dog towels at the entrance, and sausage treats at breakfast. Dogs and their humans may have a very good stay here.

Beautiful hotel located 10 minutes drive from Keswick. The staff are so friendly and everyone goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Bedrooms are comfortable and there's a roaring log burner in the beautiful lounge area.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was fabulous. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
